Xped’s Auto-Discovery Remote Control allows a user to connect all of their electronic 'Things' by simply tapping each 'Thing' with the user’s NFC-enabled smartphone running the Xped App. Once the 'Things' are connected, the user can control and monitor all of these from a single App on their smartphone. Xerts 

Xerts is a digital coupon transfer and trigger technology solution patented by Xped. Leveraging the dependence on smartphones in consumer’s everyday lives Xerts provides a unique way for advertisers and retailers to promote to their customers.

Xerts is a technology platform containing all the features and functions to allow advertisers and retailers to attract and retain customers through the use of smart technology. Xped's Xerts solution is highly customizable to meet the individual needs of specific retailers and advertisers. The management portal provides up to the minute control, and success tracking of coupons, allowing the retailer\advertiser to adapt the offer to maximize return on investment. The Xerts solutions have very low-cost upfront and ongoing costs.

Xped App

Xped’s patented Auto Discovery Remote Control (ADRC) technology is an entire Internet of Things technology platform solution. The Xped App provides the user interface experience.  One App to securely connect, control and monitor the Internet of Things. To connect with a 'Thing' the user simply needs to tap their phone onto the 'Thing' and the Xped App will automatically detect and configure the app, ready to control the device. 

The Acquisitions

JCT Healthcare

Xped acquired JCT Healthcare Pty Ltd and Jackson Care Technologies Pty Ltd (JCT) in July 2016. JCT is a quality provider of communication solutions to the Healthcare sector with products that are tailored for Hospitals, Aged Care, Independent Living and Disability Care. JCT operates as a separate business; however, Xped and JCT are collaboratively pursuing the use of Xped technologies in their product and solution offerings.

Jemsoft

Xped acquired Jemsoft Group in May 2017. The Jemsoft Group is headed by Jemsoft Pty Ltd, a computer vision and artificial intelligence company with a deep technology stack and the market proven ability to deliver on large scale projects.  Xped owns 100% of Jemsoft Pty Ltd.  Jemsoft has delivered several AI based projects in a number of industries, from hardware solutions, security, computer vision and machine learning solutions in a number of markets including the media sector. Jemsoft has completed projects for many clients and organizations including global conglomerates, SMEs, Government and various startups. Jemsoft's IP includes Monocular Cognitive API, patents, and Jemlib.

Jemsoft is a proven AI solution house with a strong management team and media sector ties. This acquisition adds a substantial piece in Xped’s larger vision of building a complete end to end Internet of Things platform. By leveraging Jemsoft’s advanced software and cloud-based expertise, Xped will implement leading artificial intelligence and consumer-friendly technologies into its platform. With a view to revenue growth and diversification, Xped management is keen to build on Jemsoft’s previous engagements in the media sector. Through working with Media Intelligence Co. Xped can expand its current offerings through the development of Jemsoft’s leading and proprietary computer vision technology in addition to identifying and advancing the potential existing synergies between programmatic advertising and connected devices, vehicles and smart homes.

The acquisition also provided Xped with 56% ownership of Media Intelligence Co.  Media Intelligence Co makes use of software to provide real-time and after-the-fact insights and measurements for brands and media owners alike. 

Meet the Leader

Peter Hunt, Non-Executive Chairman: Mr. Hunt is a Chartered Accountant and Consultant to BDO Adelaide. He was a former partner of PKF Adelaide, Chartered Accountants, which merged with BDO Adelaide in 2012. He has broad experience as an independent director and chairman of ASX listed and private companies.

Having been involved with business and financial transactions with businesses ranging from small to medium cap companies, Mr. Hunt has financial and management skills to contribute directly to Xped’s performance at both board and management level. Mr. Hunt is also an independent director of ASX listed Intermin Resources Limited.
