For the next few years, their global software sales operation was outsourced. After success in India, they looked at expanding globally and established Stellar Data Recovery Inc., their first offshore data recovery service branch in USA. Major breakthrough came when they acquired an European major RSE Data Recovery B.V. in the Netherlands in 2008.

Sunil Chandna, CEO: Sunil is a computer science engineer from ‘Pune University’ is the founder & CEO of Stellar Data Recovery which is a leading data recovery solutions provider for over two decades. He completed his engineering in 1992 and started his career in a multimedia company called “LML” in Delhi.

Sunil was always interested in new technologies & evolving trends in the data storage space. He firmly believed that he could contribute towards helping organizations and individuals manage their data and this vision led him to constantly innovate. At the time floppies were being used for storing data and he was presented with an opportunity to retrieve data from a damaged floppy disk which seeded the foundation of the organization that today known as Stellar Data Recovery. As he believed that data recovery had immense possibilities. He launched Stellar in the year 1993 as an organization which specializes in data recovery software and services with two of his friends Kuljeet Singh and Manoj Dhingra. When not working Sunil enjoys reading, has an eye for perfection, loves to travel and is always keen to acquire knowledge the latest technology.
