Not Just Selling Technology, Deep Web Technologies Is Empowering People to Do What They Want To Do

Founded in 2002 by industry thought-leader Abe Lederman, Deep Web Technologies is a global provider of custom, federated search solutions. Serving Fortune 500 companies, the Alliance, the U.S. Department of Energy and a variety of research and library alliances, Deep Web Technologies has built a reputation as the “researcher’s choice” for its advanced, agile information discovery tools. Deep Web Technologies is based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where it has earned Flying 40 awards five times as one of the fastest growing high-tech companies.

Deep Web Technologies Philosophy

Words from the Leader, Abe Lederman:

Progress. What a powerful idea. It is what has driven humanity for thousands of years. There is always a better way to do things. We can always achieve more. Nothing that is known by one of us is beyond the grasp of all of us. These are the beliefs that drive us forward.

Unfortunately, there are technology companies – indeed technologies – that do not seem to fit this way of thinking. They are trivial, shallow examples of doing something simply because it’s possible rather than because it’s needed.

At Deep Web Technologies we have always seen technology as a means to an end, never as an end in itself.

We live in a world where the storage of human knowledge has never been easier. All the traditional forms of storage are still there, books and films and papers, but digital technology has enabled us to copy these things in a way that guarantees their survival almost indefinitely.

Having learned how to store our knowledge, next we had to have access to it. In this way, knowledge becomes an everyday tool, an accessible driver of progress rather than simply a record.

Helping thinkers, designers, scientists – anyone involved in moving the human race forward – to find the precise information that will inform their own efforts is not just our job at Deep Web Technologies, it is our calling.

As much as we may talk about searching, we know it is truly about finding. The search is the process that our technology enables but the findings – discovering the precise information that is being sought, or several pieces of information intelligently sorted and listed – is what drives progress.

The Proprietary Solution: Explorit

Looking for a single search? Here are just a few of the phrases that Deep Web Technologies hear every day from people like you who want to understand how Explorit Everywhere! will help:

  • We must improve our ROI across all of our resources.
  • We need to increase our efficiency but retain a high level of results.
  • Our researchers need to work fast, work smart, and work with a lower budget.

The truth is that most digital content discovery services available today leave researchers dissatisfied. They may increase your efficiency, but at what cost? They may help you work fast, but are you finding all of the relevant information available across all of your sources?

Explorit Everywhere! is designed to search all of your sources and intuitively navigate you through a quick search to efficiently find and apply your information when and where you need it.

8 reasons why you need Explorit Everywhere!

  1. All of your content will be accessible to search from one box.
  2. You can include all of your sources, subscription, public, catalog or internal.
  3. You’ll see fast, real-time results (not indexed/stale).
  4. Dynamically rank, filter and categorize your search results.
  5. Select and store your results to review anytime.
  6. Receive daily alerts of new, relevant knowledge.
  7. Place custom search boxes everywhere your users want them – on any web page, browser or mobile device.
  8. Implementation cost and time is a fraction of creating a large index of your content.

Services: How Deep Web Technologies Empower Customers Not Just Sell Technology

Existing customers of Deep Web Technologies know one thing for sure: it is much more than Explorit. Right now the company satisfies the needs of government agencies, Fortune 500 companies, and other global organizations with extraordinary technology, critical reliability, and unfailing support.

Whether hosted by Deep Web Technologies or installed behind organizations’ firewalls, Explorit offers faster, deeper, more intelligently organized search results than any of the competitors. No matter how powerful the technology may be Deep Web Technologies do not let its egos get in the way of seeing that technology put to good use.

If it suits a particular company or government agency, the entire Explorit interface can be free of any Deep Web Technologies branding. All users will see is a discreet statement that says “Powered by Deep Web Technologies”.

“We know from experience that this gives users a sense of confidence that they are searching from within their own organization’s approved IT system and that, where it is of critical concern, security, and protection of proprietary data are fully maintained,” says Abe Lederman, CEO, and CTO.

Deep Web Technologies know that how you use its technology is more important than who created it. Which is why you will have an experience with us that none of the competitors can match. Deep Web Technologies exist to serve you. It’s as simple as that.
