I began my career with CPA practice and then attended law school. I was in school when I started the tax firm. Then came the CPA firm. Sometime later there was a contest for an essay and the winner got free law school tuition. Well my two page essay made a great impact on the judges and I went on to win the competition and attended law school. So there came the law firm. Throughout law school I kept my CPA practice alive and when I finished law school, my desk was already full of legal work to do. When the time for my first trial case came, I did not have much of an idea on how to do a trial since I never worked for any law firm, but nevertheless I managed to win my first trial case to everyone’s surprise including my client’s! I attribute my victory to my firm belief that if lawyers focus on doing good work and treat every piece of work as if it is their “personal” work and not focus on “making money”, nothing is difficult”.
