Samsung is likely to introduce force touch display in its soon to be launched Galaxy 8

If reports are to be believed Samsung might take up Apple’s pressure-sensitive display technology, commonly known as 3D Touch, for its upcoming Galaxy S8.If true, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be the company’s first smartphone to include force touch display. According to a report by The Investor, full adoption of this technology in the range will not come for one or two more years. An anonymous Samsung supplier stated, “It is a matter of time before other major Android smartphone makers deploy the technology that will help enhance user interface.”

All that you want to know- The new feature will be similar to Apple’s Force Touch technology that is spotted on the iPhone and MacBook trackpads. At the moment, it isn’t clear on how Samsung plans to implement this technology into devices. According to the report, Samsung is considering to add the technology ‘partially’ instead of fully adopting it. For now, the Huawei Mate S is the first Android smartphone to adopt this technology.
According to a rumors, the South Korean giant soon will be hosting its Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event on the sidelines of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017. The company is reportedly looking to launch the Galaxy S8 on February 26 at 7pm (10pm IST).

According to GalaxyClub, the S8 will reportedly feature a 16MP/8MP dual rear camera setup and might incorporate a finger-sensing display. Additionally, Samsung said it will offer an artificial intelligence assistant service in the upcoming flagship smartphone. The Galaxy S8 will let users order food or perform other tasks without going through a third-party application but by simply asking the phone’s virtual assistant.
The artificial intelligence service will also be made available in Samsung’s other consumer electronics products, such as refrigerators. The company declined to disclose what specific tasks the S8 phone will perform through its artificial intelligence feature.
