eSight-The most enabled to the disabled

The term technology should not always be misused. Like any other; technology also has 2 faces negatives and positives so, mostly we discuss about the innovations which caters entertainment but now, this instrument which is launched will make you emotional and has a social cause.

Apple and Microsoft are known for its handy products but still, lag behind with no such instrument found for the blind or any physically challenged. Felix lost her sight after being hit by a car when she was 7 years old. She was diagnosed with Stargardt disease, a juvenile form of macular degeneration. As a result, she has a blind spot that blocks 98 percent of her visual field.

The girl is much more used to eSight. Anybody can use this and Dr. Brian Mech, CEO said that eSight has better chance say, 50 percent atleast of working in all conditions. This equipment has served as a life savior to blind.  There is a special controller which is connected to the headsets and users can manipulate images according to their wish. 

A user said "I love when people come up and ask me what I'm wearing because it's a door opener," she said. "It allows me to talk about low vision and that there are solutions and low vision hits everybody. You might not have it, but it doesn't discriminate."
