The two founders commenced their operations by becoming the Value Added Distributor for Ideas Artisan Software, then owned by SDRC. Initially, the firm was given the distributor rights only for the Western region. After a certain time frame, the rights for North and South regions came as well. They later signed up Strategic Business Alliances with MNCs like Altair Engineering, MathWorks, and Stratasys. Their track record of success was not only maintained but exceeded the expectations of all these companies.

Further, they won many recognitions like top reseller awards, platinum and gold partnerships etc. from all of their partnered MNC companies. Mr Vikas Khanvelkar, Managing Director

A BE (Electronics & Telecom) graduate, and an MBA, Mr Khanvelkar worked for Advani Oerlikon and HCL Infosystems Ltd. as a head of their CAD /CAM division. He has been honoured with various awards for contributing immensely in the field of CAD / CAM / CAE with his innovative ideas and efforts. He has achieved the phenomenal entrepreneurial success of DesignTech in Product Life Cycle Management product sales and services field in India and abroad.

Mr Sachin Chougule, Founding Director

He is a Diploma holder in Computer Management with an experience of 10 years before promoting DesignTech. He has experience in Integral Information Systems (USA), India Operations as a Systems Programmer. He was also a valued added Consultant with HCL HP for HP-UX Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning. He also led the SEER development Add-on Module of Solid Edge.
