  • Established in 1993, Check Point pioneered IT security with the introduction of FireWall-1 and its patented Stateful Inspection technology.
  • In 2006, Check Point launched a unified security architecture integrating a management console, unified security gateways and the first single agent for endpoint security.

  • In April 2009, the company acquired Nokia’s security appliance business.

  • 2 acquisitions happened in 2015: Hyperwise for threat prevention and Lacoon for mobile threat prevention.
  • Check Point launched SandBlast threat prevention technology and R80, a completely new unified management platform. SandBlast was launched in September 2015 and R80 launched on March 1, 2016.
