image

“Delivered the industry’s first hosted LIS in 1998 and continues to lead the market.”

Psyche Systems Corporation is a private, profit-driven software company that has focused exclusively on delivering laboratory information software to hospitals, clinics, reference labs, and private labs since 1976. It is this unwavering focus on serving the core customer base that has enabled Psyche to maintain strong customer loyalty and deliver on its commitment to high quality products and services. Psyche Systems’ laboratory information software are best-of-breed products designed to meet the specific needs of anatomic pathology, toxicology, microbiology, and molecular laboratories. The team at Psyche works closely with the customer base during product development to ensure it is delivering the highest quality products and services at a competitive price.

Addressing the unique factor, the executives said, “Psyche’s solutions are inherently flexible and our programmers are some of the best in the industry. This enables us to efficiently and quickly make modifications and build customized solutions that enhance a laboratory’s workflow and specific application needs.”

And here it is!
Psyche provides the industry’s highest ranked customer support – as reported by its customers in recent KLAS surveys. Its employees have extensive experience and degrees in medical and technology backgrounds and as such are able to quickly and accurately address any issues or problems that arise.

Many of its employees have worked in the lab, are cytotechs, histotechs, lab techs, PAs, former lab managers, nurses and others have extensive software development, IT and management backgrounds, providing hundreds of years of combined experience directly translatable to its solutions for the laboratory and for understanding the needs, challenges and best solutions for use in the lab.

Reliable Solutions Since 1976

WindoPath: This is a highly advanced, full-featured end-to-end LIS with a modular, customizable design. This design allows it to quickly and easily adapt to the specific needs of laboratories of all sizes and testing capabilities, including hospitals, private pathology groups, commercial labs, and physician office labs.

WPTox: This includes the ability to capture, properly classify and interpret the presence and/or absence of prescribed and non-prescribed drugs, as well as drugs of abuse. This intelligent LIS executes special logic to determine whether the metabolites detected, or not-detected, are consistent or inconsistent with the known information captured at the time of order.

NucleoLIS: Now you can streamline the diagnostically diverse complexities of Molecular testing. NucleoLIS is a fully automated solution for PCR, Immunology, FISH, Karyotyping and DNA sequencing designed to support the unique workflow, deviations, reflexing and the complex reporting requirements of the Molecular lab.

e.lixa: This is a suite of add-on applications that extend and enhance a laboratory’s existing LIS with Web-based outreach, order entry and advanced result and management reporting. EMR connectivity, auto printing to replace faxing, and MicroPath, its microbiology LIS, are additional e.lixa modules.

The Client Spectrum
The company has 40 years of experience in providing integrated laboratory information systems to hospitals, clinics, integrated health systems and private and commercial labs of all sizes. Its clients include four of the ten largest reference labs in the United States as well as major hospitals, university labs, integrated health systems, regional medical centers and small, private physician labs.

Leighann Sheffield DLM (ASCP), CG (ASCP), Laboratory Manager, says, “For those who have multiple clients with multiple referring physicians, this system is wonderful. It allows for not only hard copy reports to be printed and/or faxed, but it also allows for distribution utilizing Outreach or secure email. These multiple reporting options ensure that the distribution needs of any client can be satisfied with the stroke of a key.” She goes on to state, “Unlike many systems whose report formats are static or very limited to change, this system allows for very creative report formatting. If you can envision it, you can format it. It is obvious that this is a system created for cytogenetics by cytogeneticists. Awesome idea! Thanks!”

“We work closely with our customers to ensure we are delivering the highest quality products and services at a competitive price.”
