Michael A. Goedeker, CEO of Hakdefnet GmbH: Born in 1971 in New York City, Michael is a German American author and researcher at the front end of cyber warfare, espionage, and crime. He has worked in the IT Security field for over 16 years, training and consulting for fortune 500 companies. Michael has also worked on worldwide security projects for Accenture, Avande, Microsoft, IBM, Symantec, and Sophos.

Author of the chapter “Cyber Security: Future IT-Security Challenges for Tomorrow’s Leaders and Businesses”, Michael’s current research projects focuses on the area of global Cyber Threat, and are aimed at making security products and solutions easy to understand and implement.
