1. How does Innova position itself in the domain? How do you ensure that Innova meets the market standards and client’s needs always?
Technology does not exist for its own sake. It has to be in service of a larger business need. While we know that the cloud has fundamentally changed the dynamic of software and service delivery, not everyone can or wants to live entirely in the cloud. Our consulting engagements and delivered solutions are custom-tailored to the priorities, objectives and scale of the businesses we support. Having said that, the state-of-the-art evolves at an ever-increasing pace. We need to understand where the state-of-the-art is and when it makes sense to apply it to our clients’ advantage. To do that, we continue to invest in training, certifications and hands-on readiness to ensure that our solutions are both optimized for today and future-proofed for tomorrow.

3. What are the challenges faced by you and your company?
With the demand for “cloud-everything” growing astronomically across corporate America, we’ve seen demand for our services growing tremendously as well. This presents two significant challenges. First, there are a limited number of experienced cloud engineers and architects available. Maintaining our high-quality standards means we have to be very selective in those technologists we hire. Finding the right talent is critical to sustaining our growth and continued success. Second, the state-of-the-art in cloud technologies is constantly evolving, no longer changing at “Internet speed” but now changing at “Cloud speed”. With our technical staff so busy on client engagements, we have to devote extra effort to ensuring we remain on the cutting edge.

Rajkumar Velagapudi, Founder and CEO
Mr. Rajkumar Velagapudi, also known as Raj, is the founder, CEO & President of Innova Solutions, With over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, Raj presides over the day to day activities of Innova solutions and is responsible for the direction of the company.

Raj served as Head of Infrastructure Services at Mphasis Limited., and served as its Executive Vice President. Mr. Velagapudi has been Executive Vice President, Business Development of Ness Technologies Inc. since September 2008. Prior to founding Fortify in 2008, he served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Fortify Infrastructure Services. Mr. Raj served as Member, Executive Management Team of Ness IBS, a subsidiary of Ness Technologies Inc. since September 2008. He founded Ness Financial and Business Innovation Services (formerly Olas Software Solutions Inc.) in 1996 and served as its President till February 2006.
