Meet the Master
James Zubok, Chairman of the Board: James has a successful track record of purchasing, integrating, growing, operating and selling companies and is a founding partner of Respida Capital. Prior to founding Respida Capital, James was an executive officer and operator of several enterprise software companies. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Business Development and Strategy at Perceptive Software, a subsidiary of Lexmark International. James had previously served as President of Brainware, Inc., which was acquired by Lexmark in 2012.
Prior to joining Brainware, James held several executive-level positions at SER Solutions, Inc., including CFO, Senior VP and General Counsel, where he was instrumental in effectuating a MBO of the company, making add-on acquisitions, recapitalizing the company with one of the most successful and highly respected PE firms in the world, growing and improving the operations of each business unit and divesting all business units in a series of transactions prior to spinning off Brainware as a separate entity. Prior to joining SER, Zubok was a patent attorney in the New York offices of Fulbright and Jaworski, LLP (now Norton Rose Fulbright). James earned a J.D. from St. John’s Law School and a B.M.E. (Mechanical Engineering) from Cooper Union.
