Jay Sappidi, Founder, CEO – Jay has more than 18 years of experience in high-tech industry with a very diverse and broad-based background ranging from entrepreneurship, senior management, business development, strategic planning to technology development.

In his entrepreneurial journey, Jay founded Wissen Inc, based out of New Jersey, which provides IT consulting services with a focus on digital content management. He grew the revenues of the company to US $5 million in three years and established the company as a strong player in the competitive content management market. Jay was also one of the founders of BarterIndia.com – India’s fist bartering portal.

Jay also held executive level position at CAST as Vice President of their Research Labs. He headed their product marketing, product strategy, corporate messaging and customer relations. Jay worked at Deloitte as a Management Consultant in their Strategy & Operations group where he helped companies with their corporate, marketing and operations strategies. Jay also helped bootstrap the operations and served as Executive Director and board member of B2B Software Technologies — an offshore IT consulting services provider, listed in Mumbai Stock Exchange and based out of Hyderabad.

An avid photography enthusiast and marathon runner, Jay earned his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani and holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
