Ipswich Shellfish Company

Walter “Wally” Smith has an extensive history of turning start-up Software-as-a-Service ventures into industry leaders – bringing strong value to customers and strong returns to investors. Prior to founding SafetyChain, Smith was the President and CEO of Enwisen, which he led to become the recognized leader of SaaS-based HR Service Delivery solutions. He also served as the CEO of AOS and Advanced Analog, as well as other successful technology innovators. With a strong focus on customer success and retention, Smith is not only focused on positive returns for investors, but most important, on high return on investment for customers – and on building a strong company that can partner with customers to meet their evolving business needs over time.

Barry Maxon, President
Barry brings over 25 years software and consulting management experience to his role as President of SafetyChain. As Co-Founder and President of SafetyChain, Barry is focused on continuous alignment of company goals, operations and product development to manage ongoing innovation and customer success. Prior to serving as President, Barry oversaw SafetyChain’s sales and consulting teams as SVP of Sales, driving the fast-growth and adoption of SafetyChain’s technologies in the marketplace. Barry has built successful sales and solutions consulting teams for companies such as Enwisen, where he led the sales efforts at Kelloggs, ConAgra, Hershey’s, Abbott Labs and 100s of other organizations.
