Joseph A. Tarantino, President and CEO: Tarantino is responsible for the company’s worldwide operations, with a global executive team reporting to him. He has been with Protiviti since its inception in 2002. He served previously as managing director and head of the U.S. Northeast practice, and was also one of five founding members of the Protiviti Operating Committee, which was responsible during the company’s first five years for establishing Protiviti’s vision and strategy and overseeing financial and administrative matters for the organization. In addition, Tarantino previously led Protiviti’s Global Industry Program.

Tarantino has more than 30 years of experience working with a variety of organizations to enhance their business performance through risk management, operational effectiveness and enhanced governance. He attended St. John’s University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and is currently a member of the Executive Advisory Board of the Department of Accounting and Taxation. In 2014, Tarantino was named one of the National Law Journal’s “50 GRC Trailblazers and Pioneers” and in 2015 he was named one of the Top 50 Highest Rated CEOs by Glassdoor.
