Brainchild of Major Manjit Rajain, The Tenon Group of Companies started in India in 1995 with their flagship brand Peregrine, which provides comprehensive security solutions. The Group today is led by a sole vision for future, which is to become the leading player in the security and facilities management domain.

The company has its presence in 5 countries, it holds 71 offices in all 29 states in India. The Peregrine and Tenon offices are headquartered in India. Whereas, their parent company Mortice Limited is based out of Singapore.

A little behind the growth and expansion of Tenon Group
The group’s vision for growth led to the expansion of the business and in 2007, Tenon Integrated Facilities Management Services was established. In 2009, the corporation was further strengthened by the acquisition of a leading electro mechanical service provider – Rotopower. Tenon got the distinction of being the only corporation in Asia, with the listing in the London Stock Exchange (AIM) through its parent company Mortice Limited, registered in Singapore.

In 2013, Tenon expanded its global footprint and established its presence in Saudi Arabia and Sri Lanka through Saudi Tenon and Tenon Lanka, respectively.

In 2014, Tenon globally made a significant foray in Netherlands through a joint venture with Amsterdam Arena International, which is a specialist in the development and management of sports venues all over the world. The business saw expansion through a launch of a new vertical – Soteria, the state of the art Control and Command Center offering remote surveillance services.

In 2015, Tenon augmented it’s vision of expansion further by 100% acquisition of UK based Facility Management company – O&G Group and 51% acquisition of Singapore based Security Company – Frontline Security.

Security Services, Facilities Management Services & Remote Services

Peregrine Guarding in India and Frontline Security in Singapore are their 2 brands which offer security services. Peregrine Guarding provides integrated security solutions in Physical Security, Electronic Security, Risk Assessment Consultancy, Executive Protection, Event Security and Remote Command Center.

Frontline Security is a leading provider of security manpower services, it provides security management, consultancy services and training, as well as supplying a wide range of security and surveillance products including CCTV systems, GPS tracking systems, metal detectors, biometric time and attendance systems and under vehicle surveillance systems.

Tenon’s Facilities Management services are delivered through Tenon Facilities Management in India and O&G in UK. They offer soft services like cleaning to high-end specialist services like workplace management and unique services like Critical Systems Engineering Building Operations, Support Service to wide range of public and private sector businesses. The hard services such as predictive mechanical and electrical maintenance services, HVAC management and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) services is delivered through a wholly owned subsidiary – Rotopower Projects.

Tenon’s Remote Services is offered through their state of the art Soteria Command Center. The Soteria Command Center is a business tool that predicts, manages, analysis and communicates the environmental deviations for certain events. It provides a unique real time remote monitoring which utilizes predictive event analytics and proactive response management that facilitate in alleviating business risks. Apart from assisting clients in pre-empting any critical or non critical challenging security related incidents, this service also provides them with vital information on any impending situation.

Knowing the Key Executive

Manjit Rajain, Group Chairman (Tenon Group of Companies) – Major Manjit Rajain was commissioned in the 11 Armoured Regiment of the Indian Army in 1984. During his 7 years of service, he was actively engaged in operations in Rajasthan and Jammu & Kashmir. Subsequent to his service in the Army, he joined the Police force and rose to the level of Assistant Commissioner of Police, stationed in Jammu & Kashmir. Using his knowledge based security experience; Major Rajain forayed into entrepreneurship and incorporated Peregrine Guarding in 1995.

At the helm of the Group having 6 distinct yet integrated verticals – Tenon Facility Management, Peregrine Guarding, Rotopower, Office & General (O&G), Soteria and Frontline Security, he now oversees the continuous and planned growth of the company in terms of business, market and portfolio through acquisition and new business ventures.

Under his able leadership, Peregrine was awarded with the title of Fastest Growing Security Company of the Year in 2006. He is also been recognized and felicitated for his thought leadership and prolific contribution to the security industry. He has received CAPSI Security Entrepreneur Award in 2008, Security Leadership Award in 2012, International Award for Excellence by the Institute of Economic Studies in September 2015 at Bangkok and Global Achiever’s Award in 2016 in Dubai. He has been appointed as Chairman, Homeland Security Forum under Indo–American Chamber of Commerce (IACC). Major Manjit Rajain is a Paul Harris Fellow and served Rotary International as an Assistant Governor thrice.

He is a member of various Industry Forums such as FICCI, CII, ASIS and CAPSI. Major Manjit Rajain is an MBA and is currently pursuing his Doctorate. An avid reader and an amateur golfer, he has also been a renowned shooter.

As a Rotarian, he spearheaded the Polio Eradication Program and Literacy Mission in India. Under his leadership, the Tenon Group has adopted a school for the underprivileged as its CSR initiative. Major Rajain’s keen interest in philanthropy and CSR initiatives of the Tenon Group has benefited more than 2500 people in the year 2015. Recently he has been nominated as a Global Advisor to Yale School of Management.

A proud father, he has motivated his sons to follow the path of entrepreneurship. His elder son, Angad Rajain, who is a graduate from New York University and post graduate from Yale University is now the Managing Director of Tenon Facilities Management and his younger son Anuj is currently pursuing his Management degree from Yale University.
