Growth in the Email Market: There is a strong demand for SendGrid’s platform and this continues to accelerate as the transactional and email marketing markets continue growing rapidly.
Extending its lead in Transactional Email: SendGrid helped create the transactional email market when it was founded in 2009. Transactional email now consists of 20 percent of all email sent in the world, and SendGrid is among the top 3 email senders by volume according to Cisco SenderBase, an email and web traffic monitoring network.
Expansion into Email Marketing: With the launch of a marketing email solution called Marketing Campaigns in 2015,
SendGrid has an opportunity to upsell its current customers who need to send marketing email and would like to have one platform for both transactional and marketing email. As momentum continues with both existing and new customers,
SendGrid has the opportunity to gain market share in the multi-billion dollar email marketing market space.
