The Nspire platform
Spireon’s NSpire platform collects rich data from its patented array of GPS products and delivers actionable business intelligence through Spireon’s FleetLocate brand for delivery and service fleets, as well as transportation and logistics customers. With a proven track record in innovation, customer focused service, financial stability, powerful vertical distribution networks, and a strong customer base, Spireon provides a sturdy foundation on which to optimize performance.

Spireon has invested significant resources to build its NSpire M2M Intelligence Platform from the ground up. Its infrastructure incorporates the latest databases, web servers, and hardware – all connected and secured by strategically located, top-tier data centers.

NSpire’s infrastructure also comes with multiple levels of redundancy and fault tolerance, eliminating any single point of failure. Within NSpire’s cloud-based infrastructure, all components of the software are clustered as well as hot-swappable.

NSpire’s infrastructure has been built using the latest high-performance technologies at the application level, as opposed to easily bottle-necked legacy applications. This includes NoSQL databases with in-memory storage that allow the company to scale horizontally as it adds more computing or storage resources – without the need for re-architecting – while continuing to deliver and analyze customers’ data at breakneck speed.

Beyond physical security, the data centers in NSpire’s network use leading-edge security to protect the data that travels between them and Spireon’s customers. Secure internet pipes link the data centers, encrypting any data that gets pushed through them. The data centers also employ robust firewalls and sophisticated access protection to ensure our customers’ sensitive data doesn’t fall into the wrong hands.
