  • Tell us something about how Alcor was set up?
    There are lot of traditional technological companies that provide application services or infrastructure services either in US or anywhere in the globe, but what we saw that there was no organization truly focused on managing the cloud and platform like SeviceNow, Azure or Salesforce. In terms of approach, we saw the traditional IT software company struggling to adjust to this new paradigm, where the need was more towards knowing the business, knowing process, know strategies and knowing adoption. We realized that a much more consolidated way needed to emerge from what we saw in the market place. There was no central leader too. Then we decided to focus on cloud services and cloud solutions. So that being our starting point, our central theme is management of the customer’s business on the cloud.
  • You are selling the management system specifically for managing the cloud environment?
    Our expertise is to create a cloud based architecture for traditional business systems and help them to migrate to the cloud architecture. Our work involves a lot of consulting, cloud strategy and that is our business.
  • What is the structure of the company and how exactly does it ensure file transferring, scheduling and monitoring?
    Our key practice is the Service Management Practice – look at how service delivery is done in an organization, how to capture all the data looking into all the IT services in the organization, how to build HR portals, how to build facility, etc. We use a software called ServiceNow for that purpose.Another practice of ours is Cloud Application and Integration- to move application for people on to the cloud and then build integration. We have partnered with a software company called MuleSoft and use their software to build connectors between applications on the cloud.Another key area of our practice is Security Incident Event Management – we work with multiple security companies and their software and provide solutions.
  • How popular are the Alcor apps that you have developed on the partnered cloud platform?
    The apps are gaining pretty rapid popularity because it’s based on platforms. And there are customers who have already invested into the platforms.
  • Who are your big clients and do shed light on target verticals?
    Our teams have worked with companies like Walmart, CisCo, parts of Toyota, Multiple Product Unions, Multiple Banks like Silicon Valley Bank. In terms of verticals, we want to focus on Insurances and Financial services, Technology & Manufacturing.
  • How does Alcor contribute to Hybrid IT solutions?
    Alcor helps in designing architecture and implement that software’s to create the Hybrid IT solution. We implement new service and that’s how we are different from traditional IT companies.
  • How efficiently do you think Alcor is positioned to tackle the challenges or cyber threats that a typical cloud based company faces?
    No company can ever be 100 percent hacker proof. There are two key solutions to it: One is being up to date with whatever is latest in the market in terms of managing security, monitoring solutions, parameter security and ethical hacking. The other part of solution is to prepare on how to respond by having a plan in case of data issues, etc.
  • Any plans of expanding the geographies of the company?
    We already have a significant presence in New Jersey and North East, Canada, Toronto regions. We are now planning to grow into the North East, Western nations and as well as South East zones.

Amit Singh, Senior VP
Acknowledged with 22+ years of experience working with well known brands including Avasant and Gartner, Amit is responsible for running Alcor’s cloud business globally. An alumni of IIT Varanasi (previously known as IIT BHU), and IIM Calcutta, his focus lies on IT Strategy, IT processes, engineering, portfolio management, infrastructure management, IT governance, risk management and outsourcing management as well.

Jeff Perks, Service Delivery / Engagement Manager
A Service Delivery Manager / I.T. Asset Manager with over 25 years of business experience, Jeff’s areas of expertise include management, leading and motivating a team Product of Southern Alberta Institute of Technology/SAIT. He has previously worked with the companies like Nashco Consulting Ltd., Streamline Control Solutions, CompuCom, etc.

Monisha Singh, Senior VP, Product Management & Strategic Alliances
Monisha has a rich overseas & indigenous experience of over 18 years in managing Global Sales & Marketing / Product Management / Market Development & Product Development operations. She has previously served in sectors such as Pharmaceuticals/Biotech/Clinical Research and Medical Devices industry.

Shimon Klein- Senior Technical Team Lead at alcor solutions, Shimon is a product of University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Prior to Alcor Solutions, Shimon has gained experienced working with companies such as Nashco Consulting Ltd as Solution Consultant, Techport Thirteen Inc. as a Senior Developer, Clark County as Programmer/ Analyst.

Darrin Lade- positioned as Senior ServiceNow Administrator at Alcor , Darrin is a certified ServiceNow System Administrator. An alumnus of Ranken Technical College, Darrin has worked with Peabody Energy as IT Specialist before joining Alcor.

Arnold De La Fuente- IT professional consultant/ITIL methodologies- Alumnus of Devry, Arnold has worked as Engagement Manager at Fruition Partners, Service Delivery Manager IT/DataCenter at Acxiom, Service Delivery Manager IT/Operations at TransUnion, and as a Computer Operator at May&Speh prior joining Alcor.

Kelli O’Neill, Senior Engagement
Manager- at Alcor, Kelli is Responsible for the successful implementation of ServiceNow Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, Employee Self Service, Service Level Management, Configuration Management, and building successful online Service Catalog’s for Service Requests for multiple clients, including but not limited to Walmart, Cal State LA, CLEAResult, as well as other clients. an alumnus of McKendree, Kelli has worked with companies such as Triad Technology Partners, Le, Arnold & Associates, LLC, Robert Half Technologies, Intl. Viewed as an experienced team member and is often asked to assist other Alcor Employees to solve process or configuration issues.
