Leadership Team

 Rob Friedman, Executive Vice President & Co-Founder
The co-founder of Digital Envo, overseeing the business and corporate development for Digital Element, Rob has been at the forefront of the IP Intelligence movement in the ad and search space, helping to make it the “must-have” feature it is today, since 1999. He has also previously served as General Counsel for Arris [NASDAQ: ARRS] and worked as legal counsel for Nortel Networks after several years of private practice. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina, and graduated first in his class from the Emory University School of Law. Having worked closely with advertising and marketing businesses across the spectrum to ensure that they are getting the most out of their targeting solutions, Rob is the man when it comes to IP targeting. He has extensive experience in the corporate development field as well, helping form many win-win partnerships and other relationships.

Frank Bobo, Vice President, Operations & General Manager, International
Frank bring more than 15 years experience in business development and operational leadership to Digital Element and leads its international direct sales and operations, partner channel management and strategic alliances. Earlier he served as the Director of New Ventures for Landmark Communications and was an Engagement Manager with Marakon Associates. He has also served as a Logistics Operations officer in the US Navy for five years and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia.

Jeff Burdette, Director of Research and Development
Currently responsible for research and development efforts for new and existing products, Jeff was one of the first employees to join Digital Element and has been instrumental in the design and implementation of its patented IP Intelligence technologies. He currently leads research into future advances of IP Intelligence in order to leverage these enhanced capabilities for current and future Digital Element products. He is the in-house expert on IPv6 and writes the IPv6 Knowledge blog. By leveraging his many years of software engineering experience and expertise in the IP Intelligence arena, he ensures that Digital Element delivers world-class solutions. In addition to the original design and implementation of the company’s NetAcuity architecture, still in use today, Jeff is the co-inventor of the patent-pending NetAcuity Edge technology and is also the co-inventor of the Trusted Server technology used in Microsoft’s Internet Explorer Phishing Filter as well as a co-inventor of E-Scam, an anti-phishing product that is deployed with Earthlink, the nation’s second largest ISP. He graduated from Clemson University with a BS in Computer Science.

Jason Lee, Director of Client Services
Jason leads Digital Element’s overall client implementation efforts and has the ability to ensure that Digital Element’s commitment to excellent quality, superior performance and award-winning customer service is upheld. He holds a bachelor of science in Information Systems from Kennesaw State University.

Susan Daw, Vice President, Marketing & Communications
With more than 16 years of marketing experience in the technology industry, Susan is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of all marketing strategies and programs, communications, and public relations activities for Digital Element and its parent company Digital Envoy. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
