Meet the Leader

Michael Pangia, President, and CEO: Michael Pangia is the President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of Aviat Networks, the world’s largest independent supplier of wireless transmission systems. From March 2009 to July 2011, he served as the Chief Sales Officer where he was responsible for company-wide operations of the Global Sales and Services organization. Prior to joining Aviat Networks, Pangia served as senior vice president, Global Sales Operations, and Strategy at Nortel, where he was responsible for all operational aspects of the Global Sales function. Prior to that, he was president of Nortel’s Asia region where his key responsibilities included sales and overall business management for all countries where Nortel did business in the region. Pangia holds a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Windsor and a master of business administration from the University of Toronto.
