“Since 2005, TranSigma has transformed businesses with world-class lean process improvement and program management services. Our unique approach fully integrates change management and digitization into the client’s DNA.”
TranSigma is a management consulting firm with a focus on the “execution of strategy”. It successfully drives simplification with Lean Six Sigma and Program Management services. The company’s change management, digitization (technology, cybersecurity and data) and business process reengineering skills are key competencies that lead these transformational changes.
After leaving General Electric in 2005, Michael Cohen and several other partners founded
TranSigma to meet the under-served lean process improvement market. They quickly expanded the services portfolio to include web and business application development. Five years later, Kevin Hanrahan joined the team, becoming CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Kevin, Michael and the rest of the TranSigma team reformulated TranSigma’s strategy, resulting in a more focused, yet global, management consulting firm that recognized the ‘Digitized Lean Process’ as the center of the TranSigma portfolio of services; the transformation of people, technology and data working together in a new streamlined process. Since then, the company has also moved all of its technologies to the cloud, grown at a compounded annual growth rate of nearly 40%, added offices in the US and Europe, and added substantially to its list of Fortune 500 clients.
Though it serves clients of all sizes and industries, the lion’s share of the company’s revenues are from management consulting services to complex global Fortune 500 companies. One of the characteristics differentiating TranSigma is the intense use of technology and data management techniques in its engagements; which are primarily staffed by managers and senior managers experienced in process transformation, program management and digitizing. Even the largest consulting firms find it extremely difficult to go head-to-head with TranSigma in its market niche. Due to its highly experienced engagement teams and approach, TranSigma can “hit the ground running”, integrate into a complex environment, re-design a process and execute the changes.
Process is the center of TranSigma’s universe. It uses Lean, Six Sigma and other capabilities to re-design and optimize complex business processes for clients. The firm’s change management and program management expertise is then utilized to execute those changes. Specialized in-house skills such as IT, finance, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, banking, and enterprise data management are fully integrated into its service delivery teams.
The company’s bread and butter has been global, complex, and highly-regulated industries such as financial services and pharmaceuticals. It often handles very sensitive processes for its clients on a very confidential basis. It has served a number of large well-known global companies in this capacity across a broad spectrum of industries.
