What is the present scenario of PASI?

Currently, we have more than 100 companies and 400 installations nationwide. We have an assortment of clients, we have clients in the midmarket, family-owned businesses to the enterprise businesses consist of several group of companies. We have also served clients from various industries like hospitality, retail, distribution, construction, real estate, manufacturing, and financial services. Some of our customers include: Starbucks, Manila Hotel, Crimson Hotel, Pancake Group, and Shangri La Mall.

PASI is responsible for the localization pack of Microsoft Dynamics NAV called Philippine Tax Localization Module. It has undergone a rigorous testing and has been Certified for Microsoft Dynamics.

We have built another segment of our business focusing on providing out-sourcing support to our customers. During implementation, we noticed that our customers lack the manpower and time to dedicate on the implementation project. This causes delay in the project. It is understandable that users will have difficulty in focusing on the tasks needed for the NAV project while they are also expected to do their daily jobs. To solve this, we came up with an outsourcing service. We provide experienced NAV encoders that can be hired on a per month or per project basis. Our aim is to alleviate the users from the mundane task of encoding so they can focus more on delivering what is needed from them. So far it has helped our customers complete their ERP projects faster.

How did you overcome challenges?

Each company has ups and downs. When we started this company, we are not similar to big IT firms. It was set up just starting from the backyard. So, financial barging has been our biggest obstacle. To make this run, we needed good people. That is why we made sure we had the right team when we started. When you’re small, it is not easy to get those people onboard. But we were lucky to have found the right persons. The good thing is, these people believed in what we do, believed that with our combined effort, and dedication to what we do we will be able to bring the company forth. And true enough we were able to. Our dream right now is to become a publicly listed company. We are working for this and hopefully we will be able to achieve it soon.

How do you see PASI in the near future?

First and foremost though we are in the Philippines, we focused in Metro Manila which is the main business center of the country. We are aiming to establish offices in other parts of the Philippines like Visayas and the Mindanao regions to serve our existing customers there. Our aim is to grow our customer base throughout the Philippines.

We also have some clients outside the Philippines though we don’t have offices there. What we do is we work with other Microsoft partners in other countries. Currently, we don’t have any plans in establishing physical offices in other countries.
