Cooey’s ‘Third Platform’ for connecting with patients
At Cooey they are building 3rd Platform for chronic patient health management. Till now Health IT includes Hospital Information System (HIS) and other products/apps but there is still a missing last mile link (Engagement with patient). 3rd Platform is about engaging patients to health management system and providing targeted services to them.

Cooey 3rd Platform offers:

• Measure and Monitor – Smart devices like Bluetooth enabled BP monitor and Weighing Scale auto logs the medical data and share remotely with the doctor or loved ones. This enables “Quantified Self”. Platform also has capability to read data from any self-care devices.
• Engage – They collect four pivotal data: Profile data, health vitals, medicines and lab reports. This is analysed to provide relevant health tips to improve health management. Partners can use either the customizable mobile application or Mobile SDK to build their own application.
• Fulfilment – The pivotal data is also used to create dynamic profile of the patient according to the current health condition. Further custom smart engine uses analysis and other scoring algorithm to derive service recommendations to the patients (recurring medicines, lab support, coaching.

Manu Madhusudanan, Co-Founder, CEO – A Creative and results driven technology leader with over 13 years of senior management experience providing strategic vision and team leadership, Manu is passionate for the digital ecosystem with strong experience in advertising technologies, large scale infrastructure, development, open source and new technologies.

Carrying 5 Years experience in Online Advertising domain, he has created vNext Architecture of large scale systems.

A natural leader with responsibilities including process modeling, requirements elicitation, analysis, design, architecting, development and implementation stages of various projects, Manu has Designed application in Object Oriented Methodology using (UML) Component Methodology and RUP Methodology strategies.Architected project using SOA(Service Oriented Architecture).

He has won many awards for innovations and many HackDays. Prior to Co-Founding Cooey, he has worked in companies such as NowFloats, Microsoft Corporation and Yahoo!
