Q. There are many other reputed companies in the same field, how are you a better service provider?
GCB has experience in handling large scale deployment nationwide and
can ramp up very quickly to meet project requirements. Leveraging
our experience, field-tested proprietary procedures and software, we can deliver large scale projects
cost-effectively, accurately and on schedule. This capability makes GCB sustainable and highly competitive. We aim to provide robust engineering solutions to the industry with timely delivery and optimal prices.
Q. How do you help telecom companies to capitalize on new infrastructure to attract and retain customers?
Compliance is a major part of large-scale network deployment. GCB is the top compliance engineering services provider be it MPE/EME or E911. We have proficient teams and the right tools to deploy large scale projects which enable our telecom clients to deploy large networks in a scalable manner.
Q. Tell us about your services for the telecommunication industry in brief.
GCB provides solutions at the global level by combining the best in business and engineering. We provide optimal engineering and business solutions for the wireless telecom industry by offering professional wireless network design, optimization, and deployment services. We at GCB have extensive experience and knowledge in 3G / 4G /5G platforms, Location Based Services (LBS) / E911, CBRS green field design and other alternative technologies to deploy wireless networks worldwide.
We have assembled a progressive staff with a thorough knowledge of the major wireless technologies, including GSM, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, CDMA, TD-CDMA, TD-SCDMA, EVDO, OFDM, TDMA, and iDEN. GCB’s team has expertise in alternative wireless technologies, including WIFI and WiMAX for hotspots, last-mile connectivity, network backhaul, and enterprise applications. GCB’s staff has collaborated with major infrastructure vendors and wireless operators globally to provide comprehensive services for wireless network deployment. GCB believes in providing constant training to its staff to stay on the cutting edge of wireless technologies.
Q. Artificial Intelligence is the new buzzword; do you think this advanced tech has any traction in the telecommunication sector?
Artificial intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) will be changing the landscape of telecommunications, as it brings in new dimensions that were never thought of before. In fact, 5G is a major force behind many applications for AI and ML, including self-driving cars that are made possible only with high speed and low latency that is available on the 5G networks. Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS), 150 MHz wide broadcast band of the 3.5 GHz band, which supports band 48 LTE deployment, allows many enterprises to set-up private mobile networks. This will be the basis for factories that are AI and ML operated through robots or similar means. We are very excited to partner with enterprises and bring in our telecom expertise. With GCB’s technical support, our clients can focus on their core business. GCB can design, deploy, and maintain CBRS networks in a very proficient and cost-effective manner. The integration of AI with telecommunications is already aiding the service providers in managing, optimizing, and maintaining the telecom networks and infrastructures while enabling them to provide better customer-targeted services at the same time.
Q. A tech company needs to be very agile with product and service innovation to withstand the competition, what is your approach towards innovation?
GCB is a part of the standards committees at ATIS and is constantly working toward creating new solutions to meet industry needs. GCB has many proprietary tools that we have developed based on our experience and the challenges we have faced in the various projects.
Q. Tell us in brief about GCB’s ethical practices.
We at GCB believe that our clients’ positive experience with the company is as important as the product provided. When a client trusts GCB with a project, we wholeheartedly embrace it. GCB’s core value is always to be ethical, upfront, and honest with our clients. Even when faced with challenges, we own the project fully and work to overcome them transparently to our clients. We believe our integrity has been a very important part of our success in creating a loyal client base over the last 16 years that we have been in business.
