MY Shower Door/D3 Glass is a provider of Frameless Shower Enclosures that manufactures, measures, designs, and installs its own products at a fraction of what those used to cost.

In September 2003, the Daubmann family opened its first frameless shower door showroom in Southwest Florida. Since then, MY Shower Door has grown to 105 employees and today, maintains two showrooms in Naples, and one in each of Ft. Myers, Sarasota, Tampa, St Pete, and Orlando. Additionally, the company maintains affiliate stores in Oklahoma City and Edmond, Oklahoma; St Paul and Minneapolis, Minnesota, York, Pennsylvania; and Grand Rapids, Michigan.

MY Shower Door/D3 Glass is owned by the Daubmann family of Bill and Donna Daubmann along with sons Keith and Douglas.

Rewind: Taking Flight

MY Shower Door continues to stand out because of its design and quality workmanship in providing state of the art frameless shower doors and various other glass products.

The company’s explosive growth in glass fabrication and tempering started with the implementation of D3 Glass in 2012. This allowed the company to manufacture its own glass and expand the company brand over the past seven years. Its line of products include decorative glass, glass staircases, office partitions, wine closets, and much more.

Achieving New Milestones

MY Shower Door/D3 Glass recently built a new 60,000square-foot headquarters and manufacturing facility off Alico Road in South Fort Myers. The company revenues have exploded from $11.4 million in 2016 to $17.8 million last year as the demand for the product grows. MY Shower Door has installed over 78,000 frameless shower doors since 2003.

MY Shower Door has received local, regional and national recognition for its business accomplishments and products, including the ‘Business Ambassador’ award from then-Gov. Rick Scott. The company is a four-time recipient of the INC 5,000 ‘Fastest Growing Companies in the United States’ distinction.

Last year in October, MY Shower Door was recognized as ‘Manufacturer of the Year’ at the recent Industry Appreciation Awards event presented by Lee County’s Economic Development Office, the Horizon Council, and the Horizon Foundation.

Giving Back

MY Shower Door has sponsored the ‘Giving Tree’ at Golisano Children’s Hospital, collected back to school items for the ‘Salvation Army Mission’ in Bonita Springs, while also supporting ‘Make-A-Wish’ of Southwest Florida, Junior Achievement, and many school initiatives. Bill Daubmann also is quarterbacking a new Lee County initiative, called ‘Workforce Signing Day’, where students who enter the workforce directly out of high school are celebrated.
