Meet the Dynamic Leader

Joseph A. Tarantino, President, and Chief Executive Officer: Tarantino has been the president and CEO of Protiviti, a global consulting firm, since December 2007. He is responsible for the company’s worldwide operations, with a global executive team reporting to him.

Tarantino has been with Protiviti since its inception in 2002. He served previously as managing director and head of the U.S. Northeast region and was also one of five founding members of the Protiviti Operating Committee. In addition, Tarantino previously led Protiviti’s Global Industry Program.

Tarantino has more than 30 years of experience working with a variety of organizations to enhance their business performance through risk management, operational effectiveness, and enhanced governance. Prior to Protiviti, Tarantino was the head of Arthur Andersen’s Financial Services Assurance practice for metropolitan New York, and he served on the North American and global leadership teams for the financial services industry.

Tarantino attended St. John’s University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and is currently a member of the University’s Board of Trustees and chair of the Audit Committee. A community leader, Tarantino serves on the board and finance committee for Calvary Hospital in the Bronx.
