“Our business goal has been to help companies save valuable time and take the path to digital transformation. We knew we could help companies integrate and consolidate their disparate processes and data in one place using the Salesforce platform.”

In today’s tech-savvy, fast-paced e-Commerce environment, hours don’t count. It is minutes that count and matters the most. And we have exactly 1440 of them each day. Commerce Studio (formerly known as Cloud Conversion) joined Reputation Studio and Translation Studio to form the new company named 1440.io, an IT solutions firm helping brands build experiences seamlessly across the digital customer journey by harnessing Voice of Customers streamlining global e-Commerce operations. 1440’s suite of solutions is designed to help businesses optimize the processes used to provide exceptional customer experiences before, during, and after the sale.

Jon Jessup, CEO of 1440.io, spoke to The Silicon Review about how he and his company-built solution is helping businesses eliminate clunky back-office processes.

1440.io: A Platform Built for Success

“As a longtime Salesforce proponent and developer, we first saw the AppExchange ‘light’ when we launched our first app in 2009. As a consummate family man, my first app had a simple task: aggregate and automate time-consuming customer service tasks for my wife’s growing luxury fashion retail business,” said Jon Jessup.

He further added, “This original app (formerly Cloud Conversion, now called Commerce Studio) started gaining traction on the AppExchange among companies selling on multiple channels, such as their website and third-party marketplaces like eBay. It solved siloed customer communications across a growing number of online marketplaces, with additional solutions for inventory, shipping, and logistics. Since that first day, our business goal has been to help companies save valuable time and take the path to digital transformation. Using the Salesforce platform, we knew we could help companies integrate and consolidate their disparate processes and data in one place.”

Over the past decade, the company has expanded and rebranded under the name 1440 – which represents the number of minutes in a day. 1440’s suite of tools – Reputation Studio, Commerce Studio, Translation Studio, and Messaging Studio – remains focused on saving time throughout the customer journey. People are at the center of 1440’s mission to get precious moments back in our day.

Providing Exceptional Customer Experiences and Services Every Minute of the Day

Back in the day, the entire customer shopping experience was built around the consumer to company connection. The consumer physically drove to the store and was able to see and feel a product. Any questions could be easily directed to an associate.

As eCommerce has grown at an unprecedented pace thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, that connection has changed. With those changes come many benefits and automation that consumers enjoy: free two-day shipping, tracking visibility, a vast product selection, search capabilities, price comparisons, and information at their fingertips online. By uniting departments and processes around the consumer, companies can create personalized, conversational commerce experiences across channels and the globe.

But, when you really boil it down, it’s not as easy for a consumer to have a 1:1 conversation with a company as it used to be.

“1440 views every function of the customer journey as a conversation. Our innovative suite of tools helps organizations connect channels and data to streamline conversational commerce throughout the purchase lifecycle: Commerce, Reviews, Messaging and Translation,” extols Jon Jessup.

Leveraging Better Security, Real-Time Data Accuracy, and Integration with Ease

As an ISV partner since 2009, 1440 products were made for Salesforce, which means better security, real-time data accuracy, faster reports, better integration, and simplicity.

Jon Jessup said, “1440’s integrated analytics helps determine our success. For example, if a customer wants to be a part of the consumer conversation via Ratings, Reviews, and Questions across multiple sites, they will want to employ Reputation Studio by 1440. There are a variety of metrics that can measure performance improvements once this tool is in place. From the percentage of reviews and questions the brand was able to answer to the time it took to do so, these metrics help 1440 measure success. They also help the customer attribute an ROI to their investment.”

The CEO further emphasized, “1440 is in constant recruiting mode as it experiences unprecedented growth in its quest to help companies achieve digital transformation. Our company has been able to attract top talent from around the globe, including many former Salesforce employees. These new hires say they are excited to work with a company with such an amazing roster of customers and an even more amazing mission.”

Speaking about how his company markets its services, Jon Jessup stated, “Our success can largely be attributed to word-of-mouth. Once one customer achieves great things, they tell another, and so on. But 1440 also has many marketing initiatives in place. With a strong event presence, you can find the company at industry events like Shoptalk, Groceryshop, MediaPost, Dreamforce, and other Salesforce events. The company also has strong partnerships with the likes of Bazaarvoice, PowerReviews, Yotpo, Salesforce, Amazon, Facebook, Meta, Google, and Walmart, to name a few.”

The Road Ahead

1440 believes the future is conversational. Whether you view the customer’s path to purchase as a funnel, a cycle, or a journey, there are opportunities for consumer-to-brand connection every step of the way. With a plan to democratize access and ease of conversational commerce, 1440 will remain light on its feet to pivot as the market changes.

The company plans to launch the following series of products, including; eBay Listing for Goodwill, OMS Complete on the AppExchange, and Commerce Studio for Salesforce Order Management (in Commerce Studio category), Reddit Integration, Enhanced Trustpilot Solution, and Zendesk Solution on the AppStore (in Reputation Studio category), Salesforce Knowledge Translation, Live Agent Translation, and Demo Script Creation/Salesforce IDO/SDO (in Translation Studio category), and Salesforce & Slack with Google Business Messages (in Messaging Studio MVP and Product Release category).

“Our innovative suite of tools help organizations connect channels and data to streamline conversational commerce throughout the purchase lifecycle: Commerce, Reviews, Messaging and Translation."
