“Glion was ranked world number one in employer reputation by QS World University Rankings 2018”
The tourism and hospitality industry stands out among other industries. Due to globalization, the tourism and hospitality industry is moving at a terrific pace. There are a wide range of options which makes it easy to choose the one that is best suited to you and your interests. Since the industry is moving at such a fast pace, you don’t have to wait too long to find the ideal job. You can work in a hotel, a resort, an inn, or even at a spa; .all you need to be is a graduate or to have attended an industry-related course.
In view of the above-mentioned scenario, we’re thrilled to present Glion Institute of Higher Education (GIHE), informally known as Glion.
Glion is a hospitality management school situated in Glion sur Montreux, Switzerland.
Based on the site of the former Grand Hôtel Bellevue, Glion was established in autumn 1962 as the Institut International de Glion. It was founded by Swiss professors Walter Hunziker and Frédéric Tissot, and offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, as well as summer programs and English language courses.
Glion has three campuses: the original Glion campus in Glion-sur-Montreux, Switzerland, a second in Bulle, Switzerland, and a third at the University of Roehampton in London, United Kingdom.
Globally, it was ranked 5th in the world for Hospitality Management, 1st for Employer Reputation in Hospitality Management, and 3rd in Switzerland for Hospitality Management in the 2018 QS World University Rankings.
