About the company: Sitel is a global provider of contact center outsourcing services to some of the largest brands in the world. The company has about $1.4 Billion in revenue driven by 108 operating locations with 61,000 + employees serving 62 countries. Sitel sought a new IT operating platform to coordinate global operations. The legacy platform was a hybrid of on-premise and cloud-based solutions that did not have common master data or common processes. In short, Sitel wanted to operate as one company globally while reducing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of their IT infrastructure.

Implementation: Sitel selected a suite of SAP^® cloud-based products to replace their best of breed legacy platform that included SAP^® Business ByDesign^®, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur and BPC. ERP Logic was selected as the deployment partner because of the company’s global reach and its technical ability to localize software and its ability to integrate all of the SAP^® cloud-based solutions to support common business practices globally. It is important to note that before this deployment SAP^® Business ByDesign^® had not successfully integrated with other SAP^® cloud based solutions. Sitel is an innovator.

This is a complex implementation involving 23 countries, 70+legacy entities, multiple currencies and both IRFS and US GAAP accounting practices. As part of this deployment ERP Logic developed new solutions to adapt SAP^® Business ByDesign^® to the tax and statutory requirements.

The Results: The integration of SAP^® Business ByDesign^® into the SAP^® suite of cloud solutions is complete, tested and accepted. ERP Logic has delivered localization solutions for the first deployment of SAP^® Business ByDesign^® in 5 new countries. The global rollout will be completed mid-year in 2016 delivering standard operating practices across the globe

Meet the Master

Caldwell Velnambi, CEO: Caldwell has spent his entire career immersed in the IT industry, particularly enterprise resource planning, for over 20+ years. Caldwell began his career as a management consultant, implementing SAP ERP for several Fortune 500 companies with expertise in the areas of Sales and Distribution, Logistics Execution, Production Planning, Finance and Controlling, Material Management, and cross applications.

Some of his clientele included: Elmer’s Inc, Reebok, Fossil, Hart Schaffner Marx, Easton-Bell Sports, along with many others, where he provided a unique customer experience, using his own developed methodologies and toolkits to speed up implementation go-live while maintaining a lean project team.

In 2004, Caldwell started his own venture, ERP Logic, where he currently resides as Founder and CEO. ERP Logic’s focus was SAP ERP consulting and implementation, augmenting resource gaps with highly skilled and experienced SAP consultants for companies undergoing any phase of an ERP implementation. In 2008, right after the market crash, Caldwell and his team developed the Integrated Financial Supply Chain Management (iFSCM) solution for SAP ERP which accelerated collections and dispute management, a major issue facing most companies at that time and still today.
