The Silicon Review
“Our vision is to be each client’s most valuable technology services partner, to operate as an industry thought leader, and to generously give back to the communities in which we operate.”
In 1998, Raj Sardana founded Innova Solutions (then American CyberSystems) as an information technology consulting firm. The company has since expanded to employ approximately 50,000 professionals worldwide and now reports an annual revenue approaching $3 billion. Through global delivery centers across North America, Asia, and Europe, Innova delivers strategic technology and business transformation solutions to clients, enabling them to operate as leaders within their fields.
Innova provides digital transformation solutions for businesses in various industries, including communications and media, energy and utilities, manufacturing, transportation and logistics, retail, banking and financial services, healthcare, life sciences, insurance, and hi-tech. The company is certified as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Corporate Plus member by the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC).
Innova’s robust offerings include digital product engineering, customer experience, cloud services, data and insights, intelligent automation, cyber security, managed service provider services, talent solutions, direct sourcing, and business process outsourcing. The company is a top partner of fellow industry leaders, including AWS, Automation Anywhere, Databricks, Google, IBM, Microsoft, Pegasystems, Salesforce, Snowflake, and UiPath.
The Silicon Review reached out to Mr. Sardana, Innova’s Chief Executive Officer, and here’s what he had to say about the company’s vision and recent verticalization efforts:
“Our vision at Innova is to be each client’s most valuable technology services partner, to operate as an industry thought leader, and to generously give back to the communities in which we operate. To enhance client success through continued innovation, Innova adopted a vertical business strategy in 2022. Working closely with clients to gauge their evolving needs, we identified a desire for a wider range of industry-specific offerings to guide businesses throughout the journey to Digital-First. To do this, we introduced strategic business units (SBUs) to provide segment-specific offerings tailored to generate business value for clients across key industries.”
In the near-future, Innova anticipates a significant expansion of its business units—including the further development of its new Hi-Tech SBU—helping propel the organization towards its targeted goal for future revenue growth. In addition to the expansion of its vertical strategy, the company is focused on scaling-up global capabilities to meet the changing needs of clients across different geographies. For example, Innova recently opened new offices in Europe and India to service clients in those regions.
Within its SBUs, Innova leverages several accelerators to enhance client success through continued innovation, including Cloud Ecosystem Management via the Digital Architect and a Data Science Platform (iDSp).
The company accelerates the journey towards multi/hybrid cloud with its proprietary IT operations platform—the Digital Architect. Built on next-gen technology, it replaces today’s high-touch, “white-glove” managed services model with productized and automated service delivery. Leveraging the Digital Architect, Innova centralizes cloud service provisioning, consumption, management, and orchestration, resulting in the streamlining of disparate Infra-IT-FinOps tools into end-to-end business processes.
Innova’s Intelligent Data Science Platform (iDSp) utilizes automation, robotics, and artificial intelligence to help organizations achieve business outcomes faster and with minimal risk. It enables business teams to provide better digital experiences, gain AI-driven insights for decision support, and provide self-service solutions. With iDSp, enterprises can efficiently optimize their operations—increasing revenue through digitization, improved decision support, and self-service enablement solutions.

“Innova Solutions has been a key partner in our journey to turn our manufacturing machine data into actionable information. Innova helped us design a data streaming architecture that leveraged the best of on-premise IoT Gateway technologies, as well as AWS native cloud capabilities.
The ability to see our machine performance in near real-time across our global facilities has allowed us to accomplish multiple goals—not only can we understand local performance, but we can now share global best practices to optimize our manufacturing output. The expertise and flexibility provided by Innova proved to be a key-driver in our ability to deliver this capability.” — Shawn Eads, CIO at PennEngineering
