Nowadays, reputation is considered one of the companies’ most important strategic assets to create value.
It gives them a competitive advantage to be distinguished from their peers in their sector of activity. It is fixed by several criteria, including innovation, product and service development, work environment, good governance, citizen engagement, leadership, and financial performance.

On the African continent, Maroc Telecom Group, as a reference operator in Morocco and in several countries, perfectly meets these requirements.

The Group establishes a sustainable presence in the countries in which it operates, building strong partnerships based on mutual sharing, exchange of know-how and respect for diversity. The Group is carrying out an intensive coverage of territories through its telecommunications networks. By using technological advances it grants to its networks the capacity to support the increasing flows of voice and data.

An operator that has built a strong reputation

Maroc Telecom Group's leadership strengthens year on year thanks to the strong means it has, including the extensive network and coverage, the access to the latest technologies and innovations, the proximity and the expertise of its human resources.

At the beginning of 2019, the company was declared Morocco's favorite brand by winning the "Love Brand 2019" Trophy. This means that over the years, the brand has created a strong and lasting emotional attachment with its customers.

Innovation for the service of mankind

Since its creation, Maroc Telecom has been committed to developing offers that go beyond communication services. Its mobile offer "Jawal" is the first Moroccan community with more than 19 million loyal customers.

The Group’s products meet the diverse requirements of all types of populations to which it is addressed. It leverages its recognized innovation capacity to offer solutions that promote not only access to telephony and Internet but also to a multitude of media and digital content: Internet of things offers, music streaming offers or videos on demand.

Digitalization: Main performance lever

Maroc Telecom Group has, for several years, adopted an approach for its digital transformation and that of its customers. Indeed, with the strengthening of very high broadband speed, the growing use of smartphones and the need for mobility of its customers, the Group has embarked on a digitalization project to offer them the best customer experience.

The Group is pursuing its digitalization by launching innovative projects for its customers (multiservice interactive terminals and auto-identification of customers in points of sale, dematerialization of agency subscriptions, Augmented Reality Support etc.).

The same goes for the B2B segment, whose support is reflected into a range of products and services for firms with high growth potential, while at the same time saving them on their telecom investment (managed solutions, Data center hosting, Internet Security).

Contribution to the information and communication technology (ICT) development

Maroc Telecom Group is making the reduction of the digital divide its main warhorse in the countries where it operates. The Group multiplies the colossal investments in its mobile and wired networks, allowing access for the greatest number to the telephony and the Internet.

The firm anticipates and supports the growth of Voice and Data usage by investing substantially and continuously in its infrastructures to expand its capabilities and introduce the latest technological innovations.

In Morocco, its 4G + network now covers 97% of the population, the widest coverage in Morocco. Especially since its optical fiber offer (FTTH) is available in all of the country's main cities. It also offers high-speed internet in public spaces thanks to Wifi Hotspots.

In the subsidiaries, the generalization of broadband technologies is materialized by the launch of new generations of networks.

The deployment of its networks represents a major economic challenge for Morocco and in the countries where its subsidiaries are implemented. This allows individuals to communicate faster, more efficiently and with optimal quality, to access diverse content (information, culture, entertainment, etc.); and businesses to be more competitive and develop new innovative services.

Maroc Telecom Group connects Morocco and the countries where its subsidiaries are located to the rest of the world by investing in terrestrial and submarine cable networks.

CSR at the heart of the concerns

Economic growth can only be profitable if it is concerned with the imperatives of sustainable development and the needs of communities. Today, companies are no longer solely concerned with economic performance and good financial health.

This is the case for Maroc Telecom Group whose growth strategy focuses on the principles of economic efficiency, social equity, and environmental responsibility.

The Group contributes to the economic and social development of Morocco and the host countries by encouraging business creation and employment, by facilitating access to education and knowledge, supporting humanitarian initiatives to help the poor and the sick, and promoting culture and sport. It also multiplies the actions to limit the impact of his activities on the environment.
