“AINS, Inc. has positioned itself as one of the top case management providers in the world.”

Established as one of the leading global providers of adaptive case management solutions, AINS is the brainchild of its founder, Mohinder Goswami (known around the office as Moe). Incorporated in 1988, AINS was founded on the tenant of innovating solutions for modern business. Initially, AINS provided IT Services support to specific agencies with on-site personnel. Since then, AINS has developed a COTS case management system with targeted applications for specific business functions, including HR, Investigations, Audit, and others. The activities carried out by AINS reflects the company’s vision to improve client performance while reducing the cost of delivery. eCase, AINS’ case management platform, has robust configuration capabilities and reusable features which allow for easy adoption to streamline processes.

AINS on works to empower government and corporate customers with direct access to innovative IT solutions that help them redefine how they work and how they develop new technology for the future. AINS has developed an environment for customer-facing applications that makes it manageable for their customers to learn and support the life cycle of product development.

A New Approach to Case Management

The adoption of case management has become an emerging approach to solving real-world business challenges across the public and private sectors in the past 25 years. Case management applications reduce the complexity of creating case-style process solutions by embedding best practices and architectural patterns into applications. eCase has been listed in the Critical Capabilities for BPM Platform-Based Case Management Frameworks and the Magic Quadrant for BPM Platform Based Case Management Frameworks.

Making a difference with eCase platform

The eCase platform’s intuitive, case-centric design and powerful configuration options allow business users to quickly build case management applications and adapt to changes in processes or IT environments without custom coding. The eCase ‘configure don’t code’ approach allows users and process owners to modify solutions without needing any IT support.

How is eCase different from other BPM solutions?

eCase recognizes that what constitutes an organization’s work does not necessarily involve a “transaction” to be processed, but rather a “case” to be managed throughout a specific workflow. This makes eCase different from other business process management (BPM) solutions. By centering process automation and decision-making on case data, case management solutions like eCase are often better able to adapt to customer requirements, manage unstructured data, and facilitate ad hoc decision-making. At the forefront of case management innovation, the eCase platform enables rapid prototyping and production of applications across vertical industry lines of business and horizontal activities that cut across organizations.

In particular, eCase has provided the following benefits to these agencies:

“At the Department of Interior Office of Inspector General, staff processed six times more case actions using eCase, consolidated the number of micro-purchase requests by 50% and saved the agency 16,000 sheets of paper in the span of one year. DOI OIG was able to hire 40 new staff members within a 5-month period using eCase.”

“At the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the agency recognized a cost savings of 25% within the first year, consolidated contractor support from 3 to 1, and improved HUD’s service to internal and external stakeholders.”

“eCase provided General Services Administration (GSA) Office of Inspector General (OIG) with an Investigations solution which sped generation of the Annual Report to Congress by 75%, consolidated processes across 25 disparate offices, and enabled configuration of 109 unique reports. With eCase, GSA OIG identified 7 specific case types that needed automation.”
