José Oliveira, Andro Moreira, & Hugo Pinto, BI4ALL Leadership, spoke exclusively to The Silicon Review. Below is an excerpt.
Q. Why was the company set up, Mr. Oliveira?
As the volume and amount of data generated began to increase, it became necessary for companies to apply more advanced analytical techniques for better decision-making in all business functions. Data analysis can reveal correlations, patterns and predictions, leaving behind decisions based on intuition: It emerges as a relevant opportunity to increase the performance of companies. This way, BI4ALL was established in 2004, and we started with the goal of delivering value beyond the expectations of our customers in the data analytics domain.
Q. What are the factors that make your company stand out from the competition, Mr. Pinto?
We pride ourselves on a strong track record of delivering successful projects – this has impacted our clients significantly, who have been with us over the past several years.

Moreover, it is important to enable professionals to collaborate with the growth of the organization; make them feel like a fundamental part of the company’s development. Q. Where do you see your company a couple of years from now, Mr. Pinto?
Our objectives are to continue to grow and evolve with our clients, in projects and in teams. We want to be a leader, continuing to be recognized, as the trusted partner for our national and international clients.
The company’s growth pattern has been unbelievable; we have had a growth in two digits year after year.
One of our objectives is to expand our ‘Nearshore Center’ and respond with our excellence services to international clients from Portugal.

José Oliveira, CEO: José Oliveira has a degree in Business Management from ISLA and a master’s degree in e-Business from ISEG. He started his professional career as IT Manager at Rhône-Poulenc Agro Portugal for 10 years. In Aventis Crop Science and Sinfic, he worked as Business Unit Manager. In 2004, he founded the company BI4ALL, of which he is CEO and responsible for the development of the business.
With more than 25 years of experience in the areas of Management and IT, Mr. Oliveira also wrote the books: “Integrated Model for Effective Management and Risk Control” and “Business Intelligence”.
Andro Moreira, Partner: Andro Moreira is BI4ALL Co-founder & Partner with a degree in Computer Science Management from ISCTE. He started his professional career as a Technology Manager in Novabase and he went through Sinfic as Project Manager. In 2004, he was one of the founding partners of the company BI4ALL, of which he is Managing Partner and responsible for the development of the company’s business. He has vast knowledge and skills in company management and customer follow-up, with a great focus on the optimization of processes, operations and financial results.
Hugo Pinto, Partner: Hugo Pinto is BI4ALL Co-founder and Partner and responsible for international development. He has more than 18 years of experience in the Analytics market, having developed projects in several areas, mainly international clients, such as Life Sciences, Banking, Insurance and Retail. Graduated in Business Management from Instituto Superior de Gestão, he has a vast knowledge and skills to manage projects based on Analytics with the aim of optimizing processes, time, resources and results.
