Q. Can you tell us about your company’s services in brief?
Apply up is a complete recruitment management system. It revolutionizes the traditional recruitment process, enabling employers and candidates to experience an all-in-one solution to making the perfect hire. The result is a true HR goal, hiring the right person for the right job.
Q. Hiring the right candidate for the right job is very important. Among the scarce pool of talent, how do you manage to source the best?
Apply Up gathers vast pools of talented individuals organically and from paid marketing/headhunting techniques. Sourcing talent is the easy part. Being able to filter, search, and match the appropriate candidate algorithmically is the true hurdle so many recruitment companies have yet to overcome.
Q. Do you maintain a database of candidates already pre-screened to accelerate the recruitment process without affecting the quality of the hire?
We do not pre-screen. Employers only match to job seekers that would be considered a pre-screened applicant. It cuts pre-screening out and gets down to the interview process and enables the job offering functions.
Q. All employers think alike, they wish they had better access to quality candidates. How do you make sure the employers are focusing on the right criteria?
The criteria for the perfect hire are laid out for employers, so they only see what is needed for the position that they are filling. They only focus on making the quality hire they have been wishing to make. Then by algorithmically matching companies to their perfect candidates, the employer will be able to schedule an interview with the potential candidate within the app via video call.
Q. Employers are in pressure to fill the vacancies immediately, and so are the talent hunting professionals. How do you cater to efficient talent in such conditions?
Yes, hiring promptly is one of the reasons why I started Apply up. Employers only receive applicable and quality candidates for the job post. Apply up gives you quality hires fast because it is an efficient and simple process that involves a search, match, interview, and job offer. Employers can also easily track all aspects of the application process and other analytical data from start to finish.
Q. Do you help employers in employee training and development activities?
That is a feature Apply up is currently in development. Our next phases will offer HR solutions such as training, development, employee management, payroll, benefits brokerage and management, custom recruitment services, and custom integrations to existing systems. Within our Phase-2, we will also include a solution to outsource human resources department;no longer will companies even need an HR department. With access to Apply up HR, our clients will have one platform and offsite employees to manage HR duties while being compliant with applicable laws.
Q. Do you pipeline talents to sustain the growth?
Employers can pipeline all existing applicants to their job posts. Employers can also save the applicant’s contact information for later reference. There is an applicant tracking system within Apply up. It shows who has applied, who is scheduled for interviewing, who you interviewed, who rescheduled an interview, who you offered job offers to, and finally it shows if the applicant has accepted or declined the job offer. If declined, you can easily message them in-app and discuss further negotiations if it is a strongly desired candidate for the position. Pipelining talent can also be filtered and searched extensively, as well as the saved contacts you made. Employers or job seekers that have subscribed to Apply up can save 50 to 250 via subscription and can purchase more if needed.
Q. What are the factors that contribute to your success?
My family, faith, and work ethic are my primary factors of success. I am always trying to find new areas to improve myself, by researching, learning, and training regularly. Working hard is a true passion I have, and I do it very well. I always go the extra mile when it comes to business, even if I am running on “empty”.
