Connect With Your Audience, Build Rich Profiles Based On Trust and Drive Better Digital Strategy with Customer Data: Gigya

thesiliconreview-patrick-salyer-ceo-gigya-2017Today, one of the greatest sources of competitive differentiation comes from how firms exploit digital technologies to win, serve, and retain customers. Customers now have unprecedented control over the success of a firm.

Nowadays, organizations are engaging with customers via every possible digital channel. In this era of digitization, trust plays a critical role for all parties, especially for the consumer. The more customers trust the service provided by the firm, the more they use it. The real key to this is the confidence that the consumer has in the service that their privacy has been considered from the outset, their preferences are easy to consent and adhere to, and that the service is easy as well as secure to use.

Founded in 2006, Gigya is the Leader in Customer Identity Management. Gigya's Customer Identity Management platform helps companies build better customer relationships by turning unknown site visitors into known, loyal and engaged customers. Gigya's platform, which includes products such as Registration-as-a-Service (RaaS), Social Login and Profile Management, was designed from the ground up for social identities, mobile devices, consumer privacy and modern marketing. The firm provides developers the APIs they need to easily build and maintain secure and scalable registration, authentication, profile management, data analytics and third-party integrations.

More than 700 of the world’s leading enterprises, including 50% of the comScore top 100 US web properties, rely on Gigya to build identity-driven relationships with over 1.1 Billion customers while powering scalable, secure, privacy compliant customer identity management. Headquartered in Mountain View, CA, Gigya is privately held and has raised more than $100m in capital from several leading venture capital firms including Benchmark Capital, Mayfield, Intel Capital, Adobe Ventures and Stanford University.

Be transparent. Gain loyal customers. Protect your business.

Gigya offers the industry’s most advanced customer identity and access management (CIAM) platform and, now, a comprehensive solution for managing all aspects of customer profiles, preferences, and consent — with transparency and self-service control at its core. This enables businesses to maximize the value of their customer relationships while fostering lasting, brand-building trust with consumers and meeting the requirements of ever-evolving data protection and privacy laws and regulations.

Customer Identity and Access Management

As businesses transform digitally, they face big challenges driven by mega-trends in the global marketplace, including consumer demand for more seamless and relevant experiences across devices and channels in exchange for their data; an onslaught of new regional data protection and privacy regulations and the ever-changing policies of social networks and other identity providers (IdPs), and; increasing account takeover attacks and data breaches in the wake of poor password usage.

As the leader in customer identity and access management (CIAM), Gigya helps businesses identify, engage and build a single view of each customer, to better understand who they are and fuel relevant, personalized experiences across their journey — from awareness to advocacy. Gigya’s platform is designed to meet privacy, compliance and security best practices without sacrificing user experience.

Enterprise Preference Manager

Due to new data privacy acts, including the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), businesses must give consumers more control over the personal data collected from them, including all online preference and consent settings. Because of this, businesses must find a more centralized, comprehensive and secure way to manage their customers’ preferences.

Gigya Enterprise Preference Manager helps put customers back in control of their own profile information and preferences for communications and marketing activities. It also centralizes the collection and recording of customers’ consent for these activities, as well as for terms of service and privacy policies, enables tracking of various versions of consent records across the customer lifecycle for auditing purposes, and synchronizes preference and consent settings with all downstream applications.
