Cymbiotika’s Micelle Liposomal technology takes its already superior formulas to the next level by increasing each nutrient’s bioavailability. Simply put, they encase the nutrients inside phospholipids (healthy fats). These fats protect the nutrients as they bypass the digestion process and make their way into the large intestine, fully intact. This provides maximum absorption to the cellular level.

Though this created cash flow pressures, the company’s leadership made this decision based on moral compass. Shahab Elmi, Cymbiotika’s CEO said “it was the right thing to do.” Striving for an ethics-forward company can be fraught with risk and uncertainty, but putting ethics over success is not a tough feat for Cymbiotika.
Q. Do you have any new services ready to be launched?
In early May, Cymbiotika launched Rya Organics, its CBD brand. Rya kicked off with three existing products - Nexus Relief, a super anti-inflammatory, Heal All Pro CBD, a transdermal pain formula, and Rumi Dream Herbal Sleep Tonic to aid you in a deep restful sleep. This will be followed with the addition of an advanced Skincare line. The first products to launch being a lip conditioner, facial mist, facial hydrator, facial moisturizer, eye cream and a night cream. The first of the skincare product line, a lip conditioner, will drop in the coming weeks. Roughly 15 new products are currently in testing and will be launching over the summer.
Q. What does the future hold for your company and its customers? Are exciting things on the way?
The sales trajectory of Rya Organics is already outpacing that of Cymbiotika and will probably pass it as soon as early next year because of the popularity of CBD. Our customers can look forward to 14 new SKUs and superior formulations from Cymbiotika this year and a skin care line from Rya Organics that will focus on anti- aging, reducing inflammation, help with Acne and boosting nutrients— a complete game-changer.

With discipline and focus, Shahab Elmi, CEO of Cymbiotika has had significant entrepreneurial success in diverse markets. He founded Cricket Wireless (which now operates 173 stores in six states), DASH Radio (a digital audio platform), and Day Group (a maker of customizable phone cases). Each company became dominant in its respective markets. But these successes weren’t enough for Shahab. To truly excel, he believes that every entrepreneur must find a passion project.
