The Silicon Review
Data has become the cornerstone of the information technology era. Numerous internet-based services rely on user data to upgrade and customize their services to better suit the preferences of their customers. Additionally, access to vast amounts of customer data has given advertisers the opportunity to carry out targeted marketing campaigns to cultivate better visibility for numerous types of products and services. But access to data is growing to be a major cause for concern, as data can be used to sway public opinion through targeted marketing. Additionally, user information can also be used for malicious purposes. When it comes to ethical access and usage of data, SailPoint has established itself as a market leader when it comes to safe handling of data.
SailPoint Predictive Identity uses the power of AI and machine learning to deliver next-generation identity. It connects to all applications and data in even the most complex, hybrid IT environment and learns how your organization works to provide recommendations that help you make smart access decisions.
With more breaches originating from stolen credentials and even authorized users, an intelligent cloud identity governance platform has become your best defense. It integrates with hundreds of applications and tools such as ServiceNow and Workday; making it a breeze to streamline IT-related work like employee onboarding, off-boarding, and helpdesk ticket requests.
Sailpoint’s intelligent cloud identity governance platform allows you to connect and centrally control access to every application, file folder and cloud platform across your hybrid IT environment. In fact, it connects to practically any application and file share out there — including those new slick cloud apps and those old ones your organization created internally eons ago. This enables you to easily roll out self-service capabilities so your users can request their own access to the tools they need and take care of their own password resets resulting in fewer helpdesk calls, happier users and big savings in cost and time.
Here are all the advantages of SailPoint’s innovative technology
Whether they are in the office, working from home or traveling halfway around the world, your users can request and receive access to new applications or data immediately. With SailPoint automated access requests, it just takes a few clicks to get them up and running.
Change is inevitable. People move to different roles, take on new responsibilities and use more applications and data to get their job done. To keep your organization secure, it’s critical to make sure that access remains appropriate for each user – including bots.
SailPoint automates the certification process for you, making it easy for your business managers to respond and keep your auditors happy.
Password management is the key to effective security, everyone knows that. But with password reset helpdesk calls averaging $20 to $60 each, they add a lot of operational expense. SailPoint password management gives your users an easy, intuitive way to change or reset passwords themselves — while enforcing strong password policies across all applications and systems.
File Access Management
With 80% of corporate data saved in file folders on Box, Dropbox, SharePoint, and Google Drive, 1 it’s no surprise that they’ve become the new targets for hackers. And with growing compliance requirements like GDPR, HIPAA and PCI, and CCPA protecting access to these files is no longer an option.
SailPoint helps you securely manage access to your sensitive data and files in the cloud and on-premises.
