30 Entrepreneurs Of The Year 2018
The Silicon Review
Digital Domain is comparatively new in India. However, it is spreading like a wildfire with a slow pace. The reasons for this are many, but a major challenge is acceptability. SMEs/SMBs still feel more comfortable with traditional media like print and electronic, and are hesitant on digital spend. While the acceptability in metros and mega cities in India is comparatively better, the market price is quite sensitive.
In the light of the above mentioned, we are honored to introduce Rosemary Interactive Private Limited, a company that leaves no stone unturned to bridge the gap between the true potential of the Internet medium and how much of it is actually being exploited. The company works as more than just a service provider and tries to create and deliver an experiential web to its vision partners. It specializes in creating Digital Strategy and Usability Growth of the business or brands it works with. Its client spectrum includes corporates, SMEs/SMBs, startups and individual entrepreneurs.
Rosemary Interactive takes pride in having some of the best minds in the business on board who help the company to cover the entire spectrum of digital communication services that a brand may require.
Prakash Arya, Founder Director & Chief Digital Officer, spoke exclusively to The Silicon Review. Below is an excerpt.
Rewind: Getting off the ground
Rosemary Interactive was founded in Feb 2012 by Sarita Arya. The company initially operated as a small proprietorship firm with a team size of just four people. Prakash Arya helped the company grow with his industry experience and digital domain name expertise. Under his leadership, Rosemary Interactive grew leaps and bounds in the coming years and finally converted into a Private Limited Company in April 2016.
Then the company got recognized and was awarded with ISO 9001:2015 Certificate from DNV Australia. It also got recognition from the Govt. of India under the Startup India Program and is now a proud startup in India. Rosemary Interactive is also a MSME Registered company.
Integrated expertise in value creation
Rosemary Interactive takes care of its partners as soon as they sign up for a new business account right from inception to final implementation. The new association is treated as an integrated part and the company puts in its best efforts for the all round survival of its partners on new digital landscape 3.0. Rosemary Interactive does strategy creation, workable action plan and measures deliveries. “We create awesome experiences every time using latest technology, state of the art creative work and superfine digital content. In our organization, no one is an employee; in fact everyone is an entrepreneur”, PRAKASH ARYA, Founder, Director & CDO said.
Rosemary Interactive has an in-house team of seasoned professionals from creative, copy, content, technology, and marketing domains. And all of them are fine tuned entrepreneurs. It doesn’t rely upon any outdated method as per execution is concerned. It has a full size digital photography and digital videography team in place. “We have all shooting and digital editing infrastructure in house with latest Chroma Shooting Technique”, SARITA ARYA, Co Founder & CHO said.
Ethics, values and thought leadership
When Rosemary Interactive was founded, the minimum ticket size of the service offering was Rs. one lac as per its strategical costing. This service cost was too high in the market as normal acceptable cost was in between Rs. 5,000 - Rs. 10,000/- for the generic web services. It took almost five years for the company to justify its price and convince people. Now the average cost of its service is in between 5lacs - 10lacs. This gave it a true sense of achievement and encouragement.
The second major challenge that the company mentions was capital and resource availability. Rosemary Interactive was started with almost Rs. 5000 in bank account, and thus, the founders had to go through a huge cash crunch. But that didn’t make them compromise with their values, ethics and deliveries. Fortunately, they had many people who supported them and worked with them on an almost free of cost basis. “This Business Continuity was not at all possible without Mr. Harish Saini & CA Ravi Shanker Mishra. These two gentlemen were truly angels for the company. Mr. Harish Saini is still with us in the journey and is designated as Honorable Director & Goodwill Ambassador. His guidance, support and willingness to help made us sustain throughout the years”, said both the Directors.
Prakash also mentions a few more names who stood by the company’s side and contributed to their strength such as Advocate R.K. Sinha (Chief Legal Consultant), Mr. Vijay Pal (Sr. Web & Graphics Designer), Mr. Santosh (Head of Cinematography), Mr. Rahul (Head of Digital Photography), Mr. Manoj Sharma (Technology Head), Mr. Vishal Sharma (Asst. Creative Director) have created some unprecedented milestones by their exceptional deliveries and became the natural support system of the company in a short span of time. Company’s directors are grateful and believe that Rosemary Interactive wouldn’t have survived without their unconditional support.
