Q. The Metavista3D display promises to overcome traditional limitations of VR and 3D displays. What are the core technological breakthroughs that make this possible?

Unlike competitors relying on eye-tracking or 3D glasses, Metavista3D’s Super-Multiview display shows thousands of perspectives in real time. We are showing thousands of perspectives in real time and by doing that we eliminate the vergence accommodation conflict. The vergence accommodation conflict is responsible for headache and eye strain.

Q. Given the rapid growth of the Metaverse, how do you envision Metavista3D displays transforming user experiences in virtual environments?

The Metavista3D display solution presents a major opportunity in the metaverse market. There are two primary ways to enter the metaverse: through a head-mounted display (HMD) or a traditional 2D display. However, HMD sales are limited, and many users are uncomfortable with wearing them, which is why virtual reality headsets have struggled at both Meta and Apple. Metavista3D’s immersive display technology offers the ultimate alternative, enabling users to experience 3D content without the need for glasses. The AI detects the specific pixels and subpixels that need to be displayed, ensuring only those are shown. Without this technology, it would be impossible to render thousands of perspectives in real time.

The patents are organized into eight patent families. Key innovations include the super-multiview technology, stereo base extension, and adaptive disparity control. Our key patent family, the Super Multi-View patent, is strategically positioned in the market. It is structured so that even a single pixel omission could result in infringement. This gives us a unique and powerful competitive advantage.

Q. What kind of feedback have you received from early adopters and demo users?

We’ve received outstanding feedback from leading global electronics companies, with many saying, ‘The best 3D display we’ve ever seen.’ At our exhibition booth, we had guests screaming in amazement, unable to believe their eyes. We’ve also refined our depth perception and ‘pop-out’ effects, making them more adjustable with a user-friendly remote control.

We will soon be launching our new, larger 43” and 65” displays.These accolades underscore Metavista3D’s commitment to research and development, solidifying its position at the forefront of the tech industry.
