REIT AI, founded in 2025 by Angelina Canelli, was built on a simple but urgent realization: institutional real estate, despite controlling some of the most valuable datasets in the world, was operating far behind its potential. After years inside the commercial real estate divisions of JP Morgan, Canelli saw firsthand how billion-dollar portfolios were still managed through fragmented systems, manual workflows, and instinct-drivendecisions. Meanwhile, property management structures remained expensive and inefficient, often consuming 8–12% of rental income for tasks that modern technology could handle faster and with greater precision.
REIT AI is headquartered in Miami with offices in Rome. The company delivers an AI-powered platform designed for family offices, institutional investors, REITs, pension funds, and endowments seeking sharper insight and stronger control over their portfolios. Rather than offering incremental improvements, REIT AI replaces outdated processes with fully integrated intelligence across the entire real estate lifecycle.
Recognized as the Top AI Powered Real Estate Investor Portfolio Intelligence Solution of 2026 by PropTech Outlook Magazine, REIT AI brings together predictive portfolio management, real-time investorintelligence, and advanced property analytics. Its core solutions redefine how assets are managed and capital is deployed. Mondo automates property management end-to-end, from tenant support to NOI reporting.
REIT AI enables investors to move earlier, act faster, and allocate capital with greater confidence. By transforming raw data into actionable intelligence, the company is not just improving real estate operations — it is reshaping how institutional capital understands and navigates the market.
In Conversation with Angelina Canelli, Founder and CEO of REIT AI
Your core systems include MONDO, a custom operational and predictive analytics tool, and Vantage. Which of these is driving the fastest adoption, and why?
Angelina Canelli
Mondo is moving fastest.Property management is the most painful, expensive, and universally despised part of real estate operations — every investor we speak with has a horror story. Mondo eliminates that pain point completely, protecting NOI with full AI automation at a fraction of legacy costs. At the same time, we are seeing incredible demand for our custom-built operational and predictive analytics tools. These are bespoke solutions engineered specifically for enterprise firms with 5,000+ clients who need to scale with true finesse.
Off-the-shelf software simply buckles under that kind of volume. By tailoring our predictive analytics layer to their exact operational data, we give these massive organizations the ability to run automated risk modeling, spot macroeconomic shifts early, and manage thousands of client accounts with absolute precision. Vantage is also becoming essential for any firm raising capital — from prospect to funded, every compliance step tracked. Mondo opened the door for all three.
You emphasize working with firms $100M–$1B AUM while deliberately excluding small owners. How does this focused targeting fuel your growth and product development?
Angelina Canelli
Focus is a competitive weapon. By targeting $100M–$1B AUM — investors and family offices operating at meaningful scale — we engineer systems that solve the exact complexity that segment faces. Our three pillars — Predictive Portfolio Management, Investor Intelligence, and Property Analytics — were designed for operators who need to see market shifts before they hit the mainstream.
For the largest institutional players we serve, that means deploying our custom operational and predictive analytics engine to seamlessly absorb a client workload. The fact that pension funds, endowments, sovereign wealth entities, and Global REITs are now actively reaching out validates that our focus has built something with appeal far beyond our initial target segment.
With decades of industry expertise on your team, how do you balance deep real estate knowledge with cutting-edge AI innovation to stay ahead of competitors?
Angelina Canelli
The balance is built into the founding team. Every product decision goes through both lenses. We don’t chase the market.
We build ahead of it.
What does the future hold for your company and its customers?
Conceived in 2024, launched in 2025, award-winning, and actively pursued by leading pension funds, endowments, sovereign wealth entities, and Global REITs here in 2026 — the trajectory speaks for itself.
We are expanding Predictive Portfolio Management to cover emerging market corridors that institutional capital is eyeing but lacks reliable intelligence to enter. Mondo is scaling toward full autonomous asset lifecycle management — operations, capital expenditure planning, and disposition modeling. Vantage is being extended into a full LP relationship management suite. The firms that build on AI infrastructure now will hold a structural advantage that will be nearly impossible to close. We intend to be the platform powering that advantage.
