Seven Hills Technology is an independent web and mobile app development firm. It builds custom solutions that actually improve the clients’ lives. The company was founded in 2015 out of pure frustration. As career tech people, the company and its team has witnessed countless software projects falter due to inconsistencies and oversites from developers and project managers. The founders, Brad Gardner and Sean Price, realized that a change was necessary. Brad and Sean noticed a significant gap for mid-market tech companies and consulting firms that combine in-depth knowledge of both business problems and technology solutions. Together, they created a unique approach to developing custom mobile and web applications that involved co-creation, deep understanding, and relentless execution. Through grit and stellar project results, Seven Hills Technology quickly grew from a two-person operation to a nimble team of eleven as the company closed out the fifth year in business.

Web and Mobile App Development Services Leveraged

You may have an idea for a mobile app. Maybe it’s more than an idea, and you’ve already started. Or maybe it’s less than an idea, and you need to find a way to improve your business through technology. No matter the situation you are in, the company has dealt with it before. As a true technical partner, Seven Hills' goal is to provide you and your business value as quickly as possible. That means analyzing, scoping, and creating custom software in bite-sized segments to minimize your risk. No matter the purpose of the software, its passion and focus is creating unique and comfortable experiences for anyone who uses it.

Software Development: There is no standard cost associated with a custom software project, as each project has its own unique requirements and complexity. While some apps are simple, others have several moving parts that add complexity and cost. Some examples in mobile apps that increase cost are tracking user locations, streaming audio or video, or integrated real-time communication such as a chat system or video calling. Examples of things in web apps that increase the cost are machine learning, integration between multiple systems, and advanced graphics or interactivity.  While Seven Hills offers custom-built mobile and web applications tailored to your needs and the needs of your customers. They perform user research and follow a User Experience-driven approach to create usable applications that actually impact your business. Their team works in several platforms and frameworks and will help you choose the correct tools for each project.

Cloud Services: Many opportunities exist for cost savings in a typical deployment on Microsoft Azure. When moving existing infrastructure to the cloud, many optimizations are missed simply because people are unaware of the options that are available to them such as automatic or timed based scaling. Additionally, as requirements change over time and new items are created, deleted, or moved, additional waste presents itself as things are not always cleaned up and monitored appropriately. Lastly, an understanding of your current utilization of hardware is important to ensure you are not over deploying and overpaying. Seven Hills Technology works with companies to audit their existing or planned Microsoft Azure deployments that provides opportunities for cost savings. The company has saved some companies thousands of dollars per month by just eliminating waste and right-sizing their already deployed resources. With Seven Hills Technology as your partner, you gain the confidence that you can weather common disruption scenarios, and know about them as they are happening, or before they happen and prevent them.

Technology Consulting: Risk is the enemy of any highly efficient organization. It can devastate even the well-run companies. Make sure you’re staying ahead of threats, vulnerabilities, and deficiencies. Seven Hills' comprehensive risk assessments ensure your network is buttoned-down, applications are well-made, and your security is tight. They work tirelessly to make sure your organization is ready for anything digitally. Through their technology partnerships, Seven Hills Technology offers high-level planning and infrastructure consultation. They work with companies to assess and analyze their business processes against technology needs and develop a roadmap that fits their goals and budgets with regards to technology implementation and management. Their business and technology experts provide insight past what a typical development team can. They see the big picture and know what it takes to create and execute a plan.

Leadership | Seven Hills Technology

Brad Gardner is one of the two co-founders of Seven Hills Technology and resident photographer. Brad originally started his career as a software developer because he was enthralled by the sense of freedom of only being limited by your own understanding of the computer and what you can make by your own creativity. Over time, he grew frustrated by the way the market tended to handle software development consulting projects. His passion is delivering real business value that is critical to their success. Currently his primary focus is on project delivery and sales. In terms of programming languages, Brad is pretty agnostic. However he has a major passion for the Elastic stack and the incredible solutions that can be created by utilizing it.

Brian Adams is one of the two co-founders of Seven Hills Technology and leads Seven Hills Technology in “coloring” (UI/UX design), as well as marketing. Originally having a passion for cars, he found software develoment as an avenue for his creativity and desire to solve problems. Starting as a sophmore in high school, Brian started his career by designing and implementing WordPress websites for small business and restaurants in his hometown. Brian has moved gradually towards solely focusing on UI/UX throughout his career and also has drastically increased his skill in graphic design during that time. Brian likes to spend his time on the front-end of solutions, preferring React/React-Native, Vue.js, and Swift. He also loves to build interfaces and graphics in Adobe XD and Adobe Illustrator.
