A large European Software Product and Services company catering to Finance, Health Care and Insurance verticals. The client was looking for a partner with expertise in Cloud Computing Technologies, especially Microsoft Azure. They wanted to build a multi-tenant platform on Cloud for non-technical users who can build custom, self-service web forms in just a few minutes. The proposed platform also had to provide for Developer API for coded integration with virtually any external application, wizard-based integrations with systems such as Websites, SharePoint, SQL Server, Oracle, FTP Site, Excel, XML, etc. The client also wanted inbuilt dynamic BI and Reporting Capabilities.

He started his career as a Research Associate at IIM, Ahmedabad and thereafter spent over 9 years at Patni Computers (now iGate, NASDAQ: IGTE) as part of the leadership team. He brings over 16 years of consulting, solution and technology experience focused on helping business and technology leaders harness the power of cutting edge technologies across the enterprise.

As part of his previous assignments, Prashant incubated technology focused LOBs and grew them through innovative Go-to-market strategies, focus on enriching global client relations by keeping an eye on pre-sales to post sales engagement. He also incubated and managed an IT consulting practice around Enterprise Portfolio Rationalization and Enterprise Integration, where he was instrumental in defining and implementing the IT strategy for several Fortune 1000 organizations.

His passion for Technology is reflected in the two books he has authored “IT Portfolio Rationalization” (with Tata McGraw Hill) and “Migrating to .NET: A Pragmatic Path to Visual Basic. NET, ASP.NET and VCC++NET” (with Prentice Hall, USA).

He has a graduate degree in computer science and a post-graduate degree in business administration from IIM, Kozhikode.
