‘Stay ahead of the competition by facilitating business innovation and enabling transformational changes using next generation technologies.’

IBS Software Services is a leading provider of new generation IT solutions to the global Travel, Transportation and Logistics (TTL) industry. Some of the best airlines, busiest airports, leading cruise lines, top oil & gas companies and renowned travel distributors & hotel groups in the world trust its solutions for their mission critical operations.

Founded in 1997, with a vision to redefine the way the global Ttravel, Transportation and Logistics (TTL) industries managed their businesses, IBS provides comprehensive, end-to-end new-generation IT systems to the global aviation industry across all process areas – airline passenger services, cargo operations, flight and crew operations, airport operations and aircraft maintenance engineering. In the non-aviation sector, IBS’ solutions are used to manage mission-critical operations of oil and gas majors, cruise lines, hotels and tour operators.

IBS’ growth, under founder VK Mathews’ leadership, has been phenomenal. What started out as a modest venture with 55 software engineers is, today, a multinational corporation, serving over 170 clients worldwide, employing nearly 3000 professionals from 20 different nationalities and poised to be the no. 1 IT solution provider to the global air transportation industry. Acquiring six international companies (in Europe, USA, and India) during its 17 year journey, IBS has significantly enhanced its portfolio of offerings.

Taking care of its clientele
With offices located across USA (Atlanta, Houston), Asia Pacific (Bangalore, Cochin, Trivandrum, Sydney, Tokyo), Europe (UK) and Middle East & Africa (Dubai), IBS helps customers achieve their business goals by facilitating business innovation and supporting such innovative business processes using next generation systems. “This way, IBS partners with its customers on a long term basis, for their transformation, helping them enhance revenue and market share, reduce cost of operations, and improve customer experience”, says IBS Founder and Executive Chairman VK Mathews.

Today IBS’ customer list of over 170 includes 10 of the 20 largest airlines / airline group in the world, 4 of the 5 largest oil companies in the world, over 80 of the largest hotel chains and 30 travel suppliers in the world.

Currently, IBS has over 17 large software products for the TTL business and no other single enterprise in the world can match the range of IT products that IBS offers to the aviation industry, making it a one stop shop for all technology needs.

Looking ahead
In global conversations, India needs to be talked as a land of developers and owners of innovative and disruptive offerings, rather than a country that churn out millions who merely code most of the world’s software. For this, the role of the Indian IT industry has to change from that of supporting to transforming global business. It is IBS’ firm belief that, through IP led growth, it can take the lead to make this game changing capability of the nation a reality.

“IBS continues to invest significantly in R&D not only to attain product maturity across business areas, but also to facilitate innovative practices. IBS will devote considerable energy, resources and time towards capacity building, consulting and thought leadership to convince and enable airlines better equip itself to meet the evolving needs of its customers.”
