ValuD Consulting was founded in 2009 by Gopi Latpate who was one of the lead architects of the original TRIRIGA platform and application. In the beginning, the company provided services and sub-contracts. When IBM acquired TRIRIGA in 2010, ValuD was providing services and sub-contract work to a variety of clients. Around 2013, the company took on more independent work and became one of the biggest IBM TRIRIGA players in the market. Today, with over 130 resources globally and over 50 certifications, ValuD is the largest IBM TRIRIGA provider in the world. The company’s team is made of many of the original developers of the product which they believe brings more depth to their offerings. In recent years, ValuD has been named a Premier IBM Business Partner and obtained the IBM Leadership Award in 2014, and it landed #1455 on the list of Fastest Growing Companies on Inc. 5000 in 2015.
“Without a doubt, we have the most experienced team in the marketplace. Not only are we the largest IBM TRIRIGA provider in the world, we’ve had over 40 successful implementations with some of the biggest-named clients across the globe,” Latpate explained. “Recently, we have expanded into the Internet of Things space by investing into a leading Industrial IoT company, Motors@Work. We have been proactive in answering the call of industry needs with R&D in both mobility and SaaS,” he added.
As mentioned previously, ValuD has the largest team in the world of dedicated IBM TRIRIGA experts (130+), and holds 50+ certifications. “We invest heavily in the R&D of solution accelerators and new areas such as mobility and IoT technologies, which we believe is key to staying leaders in the industry,” specified Gopi.
From the beginning, the company’s focus has been widely surrounding the implementation of TRIRIGA software and services. “We have invested substantially in the development of our proprietary Solution Accelerators, which we believe enhances and fast-tracks the delivery of IBM TRIRIGA services. These are pre-built tools designed to help our customers implement their IBM TRIRIGA solutions quickly and cost effectively, reducing project timelines and subsequently, overall project cost.” As an additional value addition, ValuD has taken the vast knowledge-base its team holds and developed a world-class training academy to help clients get the most out of their investment.
This year, ValuD invested in Motors@Work, an energy management SaaS solution based on a patent pending innovation for managing commercial and industrial motor-driven systems. Motors@Work was recently recognized as a key strategic solution in the utilities technology space by an IBM leader at the Maximo User Group Spring Workshop in Detroit.
With mobility being in such high demand, the company has worked to develop a mobility solution that allows users to interact with the IBM TRIRIGA application in both real time and offline modes. Look for a release in early summer.
ValuD has effectively implemented solutions for 40+ IBM TRIRIGA projects across a breadth of industries and organization sizes, ranging from several thousand to more than 10 million square feet. The company works with Fortune 500 companies, as well as some of the biggest names in retail, state and local government, higher education and the energy sector.

KPMG and ValuD develop a hosted KPMG Leasing Tool to address FASB accounting challenges
With manual, disparate and inefficient lease administration systems hindering its global clients’ efforts to navigate substantial changes to FASB/IASB lease accounting standards, KPMG sought to developand market a hosted lease management tool.

Rolling Out an Integrated Leasing Solution
KPMG is now able to offer clients KLT as a central repository for their leasing information worldwide and as a means of executing KPMG’s Accounting Change Methodology in a secure, hosted, rapidly deployable environment.

Meet the Leadership Team
Gopi Latpate, CEO and CTO – Gopinath (Gopi) is responsible for setting the vision of the company and establishing long-term, strategic relationships with world-class clients and partners around the globe. Gopi was instrumental in the design and development of core modules of the IBM TRIRIGA product suite. Before founding ValuD, Gopi worked with HCL America, managing diverse teams and customer relationships across multiple industries. Gopi has extensive experience in solution design, application development, testing, implementation, and customer support in the Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) space. Throughout his career, Gopi has received the highest accolades from clients and business for consultative attitude, problem solving skills and ability to deliver projects on time and within budget. Gopi received his Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering from UICT, India, and an MBA from JBIMS, India with a specialization in systems.
Scott Williamson, Chief Commercial Officer – Scott is responsible for ValuD’s revenue growth functions including Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Strategy and Solution Accelerator R&D. With more than 25 years of experience in the consulting and software industries, Scott has led Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Operations in large, mid-sized and small companies such as: Arthur Andersen & Co (now Accenture), BSG, Align Solutions, Iconixx and Quorum Business Solutions. Scott graduated from the University of Houston with a BBA in Management Information Systems.
