A leading provider of quality care and education: G8 Education

thesiliconreview-gary-carroll-ceo-g8-education-2017Broadly defined, the term childcare includes all types of education and care provided for young children. The term is also used more specifically for the supplemental care of children from birth to age eight years by persons other than parents. Childcare is used for a variety of reasons, and programs vary by the number and age of children, the reason care is used, the preparation and status of caregivers, and the location of the care.

Current research has shown that the early years (ages 0-5) are the most sensitive to brain development. Over 90% of brain growth occurs during this period. The people who help care for your child are also those who help shape your child’s mind. Studies show that children who receive quality child care enter school with better math, language, and social skills. These skills give your child a good start to succeed in school and in life.

When your child has safe, loving, and stimulating childcare that you can count on, you don’t have to worry while you are at work. You know that your child is getting the kind of care children need to be healthy, happy, and successful. Society, children, families, employers, communities, and the nation as a whole benefit from high-quality childcare. Fostering a healthy, successful, future workforce is essential to everyone’s well-being.

G8 Education is a growing, successful and sustainable organisation currently owning and operating over 480 Childcare Centres across Australia and Singapore. Headquartered in Varsity Lakes, Queensland, G8 Education is a leading provider of quality care and education with more than 10,000 staff, operating a business based on a range of diversified, well-respected and recognised brands and has experienced significant recent growth which is expected to continue.

G8 Education: Quality Education and Care

G8 Education was founded in 2006 and brought together a team of dedicated professionals driven to deliver high quality developmental and educational child care services throughout Australia. This was in response to increasing government regulations making it harder for single-centre operators to survive.

G8 Education Limited trades on the Australian Securities Exchange under the code GEM. The company floated on December 5, 2007, under the name Early Learning Services Limited. In March 2010 the company merged with Payce Child Care Pty Ltd to become G8 Education Limited.
