Cloudnine, with 12 centers aims to lead the competition by investing in clinical and business innovation with technology. The hospital chain has raised $102.2 million in three rounds of funding since 2012, from Sequoia Capital and Matrix Partners and IVFA last year. Rohit M.A, Co-founder and Managing Director of Cloudnine is currently working on a technology roadmap for the hospital through which the providers will be able to track the entire lifecycle of birthing. The plan is to be able to track a pregnant woman from the moment she starts her consultation. She gets access to Cloud Nine’s suite of services delivered over a smartphone.

Dr. R. Kishore Kumar, Founding Chairman, MD and senior neonatologist at Cloudnine: Dr. Kishore is an internationally acclaimed neonatologist who has worked in four continents over the course of his career, covering North America, UK, Asia and 12 years in Australia. He completed his MBBS from Gulbarga University and his DCH from Mysore University and London. He is an MD (gold medalist) from Mysore University, MRCP (Paed) & FRCPCH from UK and MRCPI (Paed) and FRCPI from Ireland. He has also completed his Fellowship in Neonatal ICU with an FRACP from Melbourne, Australia. At the time of his qualification, he was amongst one of the youngest and highest qualified neonatologist in the world and has been associated only with teaching hospitals. Among his many awards and accreditations he has the honor of being felicitated by former US President Bill Clinton for his exceptional achievements in the field of neonatology.
