Getting Off the Ground

CBD USA Grown was started in response to the growing demand for quality CBD hemp oil products. Realizing quickly that the market and competitive companies were under-funded and poorly managed, Deborah Gestner set out to create the best possible corporate infrastructure for a new and growing product line.

CBD USA Grown selected the structure and corporate platform used today based solely upon a shared corporate need which is interactive between the various companies. One company feeds and serves the other companies’ needs thereby allowing for a full-service situation in the HEMP (Helping Educate Misinformed People) products and distribution business globally. “By locating in the Foreign Trade Zone in Pittsburgh, we’re able to distribute CBD hemp products in a manner that becomes the most cost-effective option for any hemp company in America.” Having secured a government lease at the airport for five years, CBD USA Grown is growing by leaps and bounds and will continue to grow as its European markets will open up in summer of 2019 when Above Water is launched in London.

First Product Launch: A Terrific Feat

CBD USA Grown’s first products were launched in 2017 (CBD pain balms, tinctures, soft gels) as a white label product from Folium Biosciences’ inventory of product options. “Soon, I realized that many of the CBD products on the market were sub-standard and just plain bad. Therefore, I started to formulate my own unique products.” In July 2017, Above Water was born in concept and with two years of research, formulation, testing, consumer testing, lab testing and formatting the process – Deborah successfully received full regulatory approval for her CBD WATER label, product, process and actual bottling of her product for the consumer market. Today, Above Water sells out in every store where it is delivered. Above Water is branded in all 50 states and patent-pending in the US Patent Trade offices. Above Water is the only broad spectrum 15 mg CBD product that is 0.0 percent THC that is on the market in the USA.
