Why was the company set up? And how did you expand your company and its offerings over the years?
In founding Hyperion, we set out to create a new model consulting practice that challenged all of the conventional wisdom of the industry. We innovated in who we hired, the services we offered, the way we delivered those services, and how we charged for them. In many ways, we became the ‘anti-consultancy.’
We are focused on transformation. While all the other consulting companies in our industry focus on very tactical work – to install a new technology or document processes, etc. – we provide a more holistic approach to operations and information management, leading our clients through broad-based transformation programs that serve to dramatically change the way they work and the results they achieve.
What kind of responses have you received from your consumers over the years? How have they motivated you to shape your offerings/grow the company?
Our innovation has borne many fruits. We not only challenged the status quo, but we have created an entirely new market in doing so – one we defined and lead. We are widely acclaimed in the marketplace for our innovative approach and have established a presence of immense influence: we advise and guide all stakeholders in the market – buyers, solution providers and investors – and are widely acknowledged as the leaders in the legal solutions market.
About adaptability, how do you stay relevant to the consumer interests and needs in this highly volatile market?

Last but not the least, we want to know: why did you choose to name your firm Hyperion?
According to Greek mythology, Hyperion was one of the twelve Titans of Ancient Greece. It is said that he was the first to understand, by diligent observation and analysis, the movement of the sun and the moon and the other stars, and the consequent changing of the seasons. So in essence, as he helped mankind to understand the nature of the world around them, we can ascribe him the honor of being the first consultant.
We also borrow loftier meaning from Hyperion. He was the Titan of Light, and as a consultancy deeply committed to the interests and success of our clients, we understand that our value is to illuminate.
