Telular’s Telguard division is an established leader in the wireless security market segment serving North America’s 10,000 independent security dealers. Considered an innovator in the industry, Telguard is the first to deliver a SaaS offering as a cost-effective platform for dealers to manage through AT&T’s 2G sunset and to upgrade their customers to 3G, CDMA and LTE technologies. Telguard introduced the industry’s first sole path wireless alarm communicator for commercial fire alarm applications allowing dealers to eliminate legacy landlines and reduce service costs. A publicly held company since 1994, Telular was acquired by Avista Capital Partners in 2013. As the CEO, Doug Milner, leverages a diverse background in technology and service industries to position Telular as a leader in high-growth IoT and M2M markets. He brings over 30 years of experience leading growth companies in both the private and public sectors to Telular.
Most recently, Doug served as President and Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Active Power (NASDAQ: ACPW), a manufacturer of uninterruptible power systems and modular infrastructure solutions for data centers. Prior to Active Power, Doug served in senior leadership roles at Aquilex Corporation, Xerium Technologies, and Invensys plc.
